With the existing ps4. I personally have noticed the graphics difference on hd.

    The previous update:
Allowed for Native 1080p to be "TRUE" 1080p. Means the Graphics are no longer "stretched" to fit the screen.

4k 3840 x 2160 resolution - PS4 PRO - Is USING NATIVE 4K. means , they are now taking the TRUE 1080P and "STRETCHING" it to fit the 4k res.
However, .... Theb ps4 Pro I believe, has 3 graphics cards. This means it has the power to technically run smoother and better graphics handling capabilites.

    I have learned recently,
That the difference is NOT highly noticeable on the 4k. UNLESS the game, (in the future) becomes a true 4k. and not a native 4k.

The difference for ps4 pro - is the ability tobhave higher frame rates. 60fps opposed to 30fps. In turn, this should prevent "game lagg" when there is alot of clutter on the screen and high demands on the graphics card.

In order to see the difference on a 4k. Itbis said that .... a miminum 60in television would be required to see a noticeable difference, AND at farther distance back from the television.
4k, at the resolution I mentioned above, allows for finer detail within and greater in the in-game distances.

4k, offers or bolsters an amazing array of colours and even details.... which the "HUMAN EYE" apparently cannot even detect.

    again though,
Taking the 1080p 1080i etc. And STRETCHING this toba Native 4k. then NO, A noticeable difference should not be noticed effectively.

You can type in on youtube... 4k or UHD vs 1080p or vs HD, etc. There are many comparisons conducted and opinions stated.

What the heck did i just read. Native 4k means it fills every pixel on the screen. No stretching. Where did you get this true 4k stuff from?

I have a ps pro on my front room 4k OLED and my PS4 upstairs on my 1080p led.

There's a big difference between the two. the ps pro is much clearer. My bedroom tv has a more blurred image and detail is not as defined.

EDIT: actually I've read your post again and clearly you must be trolling. 4k bolsters the colours to ones even the human eye can't see. Haha

Extraordinarily misinformed. Please ignore everything this poster has said.

Moving on. ESO on a PS4 Pro displayed on a 4K TV looks great. Check under your settings in ESO to see whether you have 4K actually on; there's a toggle. Also check your PS4 Pro graphic settings (under the PS4 menu itself), to see if you have 4K enabled there.

...in short the many articles, personal viewing and even within threads here...

The naked eye noticeable difference comes with the higher end 4K tv with HDR

So from my opinion the only two that really are obvious to anyone are LGs OLED slim version and the Samsung SUHD Quantum dot tvs

Not that others don't show a better image vs older 1080p tvs but in terms of noticing a difference. It's just pixels sharpness and lighting. ZOS didn't upgrade the 1080p enhanced or 4K versions to what's seen on ultra or very high from PC

Some will argue otherwise. Just sharing my point of view

Can you change the settings on PS4Pro ESO so that on a HDTV the graphics are improved instead of the frame rate? E.g. better draw distance, lighting, etc...

If you don't shell out the money to get a 4k resolution TV to go with your Pro, then you wasted your money on the Pro.

Personally I don't see the grand allure with going 4k. Later down the line if it becomes much more affordable than sure I'll do it, but for now 1080p is just fine.

This! Lol... kinda a pointless upgrade not having a 4k tv to begin with. I'm running a ps pro wit a 43" 4k monitor n its an incredible upgrade over the og 1080p ps4.

    * I am not using 4K TV..

Keeping it simple, no you do not need to re-download anything or install a new patch. Because you don't have a 4K TV, you're only going to see minor benefits. These are:

"The PlayStation®4 Pro allows you to play in 1080p Enhanced Mode, which includes all of the graphical features available on the original PlayStation®4 and also includes graphical enhancements to ambient occlusion, water reflections, and improves shadow fidelity."

    Source: http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2016/11/10/play-eso-in-4k-on-the-playstationr4-pro

But in the last patch, they killed water reflections... so that's off the list now.

4K TV owners get a choice in-game of 1080p Enhanced or 4K. Because you have a 1080p TV, your game should automatically default to 1080p Enhanced and that menu option will not be available.
