Sword Of The Lich

Have ran this dang crypt of hearts over a hundred times and havent seen one sword of the lich. Anyone having better luck? If so post whether it was one or two and normal or veteran. Losing my sanity atm...

Dont forget that every dungeon have 2 treasure chest. Find and memorize their location be cause they drop weapons and jewelry as well. If you have the treasure seeker passive from CP all the better.

I picked up a dagger with a bad trait on my last run. I have a shield as well but no other one hand weapons I don't think. Anyone have a link for a map for treasure chest locations in dungeons?

I think you're fighting the smart loot system.

That's supposed to prevent stamina destruction staves and magicka set swords from dropping as frequently.

It still happens, but it's rare.

It was just not on a large scale i.e bows of much.

Well, after hundreds of runs through City of Ash, I have multiple sharpened Embershield Inferno Staves and several various staves of Sunderflame (both of which are useless sets as staves) and not a single inferno stave of any trait for Burning Spell Weave.

I also have two sharpened Burning Spellweave bows and several mauls (and dozens of other equally useless weapon drops in those 3 sets).

I don't know what "smart loot" is or if it exists, but it's far more common to get an utterly useless stam item for a magicka set or magicka item for a stam set than it is to get the right item for the right set.

They really need to fix the drop tables.

At this point id settle for defending. Hell i might even run prosperous. Just to actually see a sword would be amazing.

I have a defending lich sword and impen shield. It dropped for me in vCoH, about the 80th run.

Make sure you have treasure hunter passive and always open chests. Run normal for faster farm, only color changes in Vet. I've pulled at least as many weapons from chests as I have from final bosses in dungeons. The more friends you bring who are willing to help you out, the more drop chances you have. I always drag at least two friends along with me when farming something. I let them drag me along when they need something. We all get our stuff faster this way.

I have gotten 2 swords, charged and infused and 2 daggers, forget what traits and also a sharpened axe, all from normal, for me it seems much more weapons drop on normal than vet. Axe was from a chest and also the shield I got from a chest in normal

I thought treasure hunter only improved the items? Like made you find more purples and blues... not made you find better items. Interesting.
