Is there no builds viable for two handed and heavy armor?

All I am seeing is how heavy armor is not viable in pve vets, same goes for two handed, geesh the more I learn the more I feel limited in playstyle.

for what exactly? You can dps any dungeon in heavy armor and 2h, but you aren't going to compete with people specced for all out DPS.

You can do anything you want really, but there is levels of difficulty here.

I often use 2H on back bar for tanking in stamina builds to have a proper burst heal.
Also heavy armor pretty much needed to tank properly.
