Pretty sure Viper is turning into a DoT next patch, so it'll deal its damage over 4-8 seconds. Fengrush mentioned it as well as a few others.

In other words, typical ZOS-style balancing.

Instead of balancing stuff they either overbuff it (Dark Brotherhood - Viper proc damage buffed by 500%)
OR
Nerf it into the ground (becomes a DoT = almost worthless)

Some will . Not all . Vipers is a easy set to obtain so it would weed out only those that haven't gathered other sets that are BOP .

The bad ones. I just own viper because of vma, if not for that... I have self respect to run an honest build (idc if u hate eternal hunt, because u get hit by it. you're just bad so GG) and still destroy gankers in their pitty attemps.

There is no such thing as "stamina users". Right now changing from stamina to magika is really simple, just respect and change race (if you don't have already another character with the proper race, nowadays with all the XP buff you can get a character to 50 in one day). You never asked yourself from where all the stamsorcs of this patch came from? all re-rolled magsorcs from the time where magsorcs where inmortal. Before this meta, the only stamsorcs i've ever seen on cyrodril were fengrush and thermidor, now you can't walk 5steps in cyrodrill withouth seeing one.

When magika was the OP thing, everyone re-rolled magika, now stamina is the "OP" thing, so everyone rerolled stamina. If stamina gets nerfed badly, everyone will re-roll magika (many people already doing it, just for the destro ulti). All the "stamina vs magika users" fight is really stupid, you can switch back and foward in no time, people will keep following the meta

If they overbuff magDK, you can be pretty sure that cyrodrill will be infested of magDKs

I think it will more end heavy armor meta because of almost all if not all except ganging NB are using heavy armor + viper to their burst, I have hope it will very affect those heavy armor scrubs and they will lost thei viper burst wearing heavy armor and they will be more forced to use more medium armor to have good damage instead of survivability and tankly in heavy armor with proc set burst

99.99% of heavy armor users will panic because with proc set nerf they will finally lost they burst dmg if they are tankly, now to being tankly they sacrifacing almost nothing from damage to have good burst to be able kill anyone

Buff the crap out of Constitution, and come out with a SnS ult that allows you to perma-block again.

Some of these baddies getting carried by gear and going to get a shock when they gap close me and don't proc a free 20k tooltip of dmg.

I'm calling it now all the salt of these forums and going to be 'can't kill these anymore too tanky or i can't kill them anymore'

Not really they kinda seem exposed now, but when zos does get their heads out of the sand and start fixing this proc mess a few players that rely on this crutch will have some l2p again all over.
