player housing holiday achievements

knowledgeseeker
For the most part this is in regards to Holiday achievements based on crafting recipes.

I have a main character and a crafting character, the crafters sitting at around level 32, I built him up just enough so that I could have the crafting and my main has provisioning and alchemy because I had a lot of leftover skill points.

The first holiday event was Halloween and everyone got the goodies by fighting in dungeons and delves. the current one is doing non combat. I send all the motifs to my crafter and the provisioning to my combat toon.

My crafter hasn't seen the world, my worry is that with combat holiday events, I won't be able to get a completed achievement for player housing items if applicable because of the disparity between the two characters.
Maybe the achievements could recognize that I used all the motifs on one character and provisions on the other so that I don't wind up with incomplete achievements, or have a separate set of activities so that either a combat character or crafter can get all the achievements .

So in a round abut way, you want achievements, such as holiday achievements to be for the account, not just 1 player.

    Good luck with that.

Honestly? Start taking your crafter out, and running them through content. You'll get more skill points that way. Also get them up to snuff, and run each dungeon with them (each first clear awards a skill point), also each public dungeon's group event awards a skill point (there's 16 total).

    Finally snarf up those skyshards.

You know, do stuff on them, before overcommiting them to crafting.

There is (or used to be) a penalty for deconstructing items above your equipment tier (maybe just above your level), so you want your crafters to be at least 50/160s.

If housing has anything at all for the holiday achievements they should be account based as housing will be. I don't believe each character will have a different version of the house to decorate, so I can't imagine any items obtained from achievements would be character based.

But if you are really worried about it, join groups for the achievements on your crafter.

Or craft him a set of gear... You just need 1 spammable skill(and it can even be one of the first three) to do any normal solo content in the game as long as you are wearing set gear your own level. You may have to dodge, kite and occasionally block... but it's doable.

Yes that is exactly what I want if I collect all motifs for a holiday event on one character and the provisioning recipes on another then the achievement that requires both should it reward an item for housing will register as complete as well as for any other item rewarding holiday achievement conglomerate.
