Yes, the quests are fun and the rewards are great
    My suggestions:

-Mud Brawl pit should be added so players can face off in their towels in a proper place

-More things for players to compete against each other like horse races, maybe a tracker on who throws the most mud balls and a leaderboard with special holiday rewards.

Otherwise, it has been a great event, really enjoying it!

Did 2 quests...shook my head at the absurdity of them, looked online at the event rewards(ugly costumes, lackluster recipes, nonsensical "consumables") and promptly went back to doing what I was doing before. Double XP is nice, though all 12 of my alts are maxed. Bah humbug I guess... :/

It's really annoying having to go back to drink from the keg, the only useful thing this event brings to the game. And getting the recipes/motifs is really too grindy and there's only *one* way to get them....

I very much preferred the method from Witches festival where you could get your boxes from pretty much any activity you enjoyed, instead of shoehorning everyone into doing these absurd (and some of them very buggy) quests over and over and over to the point of mind melting.

Meh, too much running and you don't even get much for that, you are forced to waste like 1 hour per day for some quests that mostly gives crap worth 100 gold (like all motif chapters and recipes). I would say do achievements and forget about it, if you aren't CP capped then maybe enjoy double XP boost, after i drink the buff, teleported on other map and randomly dying from fall dmg 3 minutes later i give up even on that. Witches Festival was nice addition because it didn't interfere with normal gameplay at all, if ZOS want to do events that require specific gameplay then they need to be bigger and require better rewards.

    It's fun to do... once.

I liked to learn about some traditional festivities of the people of Tamriel.

But otherwise this isn't but another insane farming event and I'm very concerned about the future of the game (for me) if farming and repeating silly quests is the definitive orientation Zeni wants for it.

i voted for "fun for the most part"

i just started again so i was only level 18 when it started. Its a looooong run from davon's watch to the quest npc lmao.

I also had to look up caravan paths and boats to find out how to get to all the quest areas.

That said... it got me out exploring the world (never did much outside of the dominion before) and once i got all the waypoints i can do the whole quest rack in a bit better than a half hour. I've picked up the towel, hood and mud ball collectables and a handful of recipes. Even got a few of the skinchanger motiffs so far.

I'm liking the double exp with all these quests and the level scaling everywhere (still getting used to the whole "one tamriel thing"). I'm level 25 now and i'm still only just about done with my second zone quest wise (not counting gold coast... <3 the brotherhood lines).

So... tons of collectables, good exp, some fun quests (mudballs ftw) and getting me a ton of teleport locations. All for the low, low price of an afternoon of running around grumbling while i try to find out how to get around to everywhere lol.

    Not bad honestly :)

It is fun. Reward is cool, it is motivate me to repeat and much more like 2th anniversary (just douple exp) or halloween (double exp + container). Now we have +quest. It seems to be getting better every year.

But I hope some changes coming with next year.
    - XP buff would be memento
    - Consumable animations would be consumable memento (I like it, but I don't like it to keep in my bag)
    - Quest reablance, first afternoon was very horrible to try kill mobs or catch fish.

    New features, more motivation
    - Housing coming, next year event reward would be decoration too
    - Event story mission with cool rewards, maybe +9 CP cap raise or +1 skill point (one time/event type not per year)
    - Event dungeon
    - Event mini games (horserace, target shooting, steeplechase, etc. etc)

Yes, the quests are fun and the rewards are great
The quests are fun, quick and simple, and they give an insight on each of the playable races' cultures.
The collectible rewards are something my characters would actually wear on occasion and the drop rates are not bad.

Ignoring the server issues, my only problem with it is that they didn't include the Imperials.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

As others have said, the quests get a bit repetitive. If I have to mindlessly grind in order to get the containers, I'd rather be able to grind my preferred mindless way.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

Mind numbing is what springs to mind. First time, the novelty wore off due to how ridiculous they are. Nothing fun about them whatsoever. Run and do the condition of the given quest, garner little or no amusement from it, then rush off to hand it in etc. Jumping from a bridge, running to a bonfire every single day isn't fun, it's repetitive nonsense. Doesn't help that travelling to umpteen different places in quick succession isn't fun. Next to no one is there because they want to be there, they're there to do the quest and get it done and dusted ASAP.

The double XP should have been a token as it has been before, it's slightly annoying to go to Eastmarch every time I want to top up. Otherwise I like the Quest System that has been introduced for this festival.

We had a huge mudball fight was a blast just acting stupid with a bunch of random ppl is why I play mmos I think a lot of people forget about the small things that are more important then best dps or pvp rank it's the memories you make in the game like the massive mudball fight of 50+ ppl that lasted for hours.

My elf is enjoying the festival. She rather hopes for one of those Nordic towel costumes but doesn't care about the other rewards or achievements. She is simply having fun doing the funny little quests and watching other players as they do the same. Her favorite part is no black bags full of bones running around like during the Witches Festival - it is ever so much more fun to see characters wearing what they want to wear. She doesn't even care about the double xp since elves have a very long lifespan to learn what they need to know.

All in all, a very fun diversion.

It's fun for the most part
I liked getting more lore, some of the quests are silly and fun (I love the mudball quest. I got the permanent memento and was pleased to be able to peg the person who caked the door to one of my Trial runs last night ) and the drop rate on the rewards seem to be good, unlike the last one. There's more variety than the last one--it got very tiring seeing everyone (self included!) dressed in rags and made of bones. I am curious as to why the High Hrothgar mints only seem to be buyable from the vendor and don't appear anywhere else...

I do however question the logic of having quests with an objective that has to spawn for limited-time content like this. Zeni should KNOW everyone is going to be hitting these quests all at once, because that's what happens with any new content, period. Being a daily quest, they're going to be hitting it more than once, prolonging the amount of time before the worst of the crowds disperse. And being a limited time event, it isn't as if we can wait for the crowds to get bored and try it again in a month or two.

I've found Witches Festival a lot more interactive with other players. I got to meet a few new players while we waited for world bosses.

And I was able to hang out with friends while we killed world bosses, rather than go to Place A, press E, go to Place B, press E, go to place C, press E... all the way through the alphabet. It's not entertaining, and there's no real incentive to group up with my friends for it.

It would have been a lot better if there was a very large instanced area to do all the quests - thinking of something similar to that week long festival that WoW has at the beginning of each month. We would have been able to meet a lot of new players, hang out with them and have fun.

Yes, the quests are fun and the rewards are great
I've done several quests and enjoyed them with no performance issues.

Every seasonal event is ultimately boring, not least when the same event is trotted out year after year (Yes EQ2's Frostfell, I'm talking about you!). However, just because an event is running for a few weeks doesn't mean you have to participate in it every waking moment from its launch to its withdrawal.

I agree, especially when you consider that you can get all the quest-related achievements on the first time you do each quest, and you can buy all the rewards from other players (including, of course, the recipes and motif pages for the two achievements that are not related to the quests).

There is no need to grind the quests repeatedly if you don't want to.
