Forum Idea: Show Platform and Server on posts

I think that showing the (main) platform and server that players are using on their forum account, just under their photo or next to it, would be quite useful - and I imagine not too hard to implement.
It would help a lot when reading players accounts about issues to find out if it is affecting your system, it would help when asking other players for help, when looking for guilds, and at this time of year, when organising new life gifts!
One of the most common posts I see on help threads is "What server are you on?"
We can already set our platform on the account page - it would be nice to add the server to that, and make it more visible (optional, of course!)

I still think it's a good idea though, despite it being visible in other places, because it would just be a slightly more user-friendly design. You would always know where to look for the info, instead of potentially needing to read the whole signature or click away to a different page - might be more likely to get people to respond.

Its not so much that we don't agree with you, its just already a part of the forums. As Jkorr pointed out above, your profile here denotes the platform.
As to why it's not automatically part of the forum post, it would clutter up all the posts that don't have platform relevance. And, where would the cluttering stop? People would want all their characters listed, or achievement points or game titles or something else. Sure, not everyone would ask for this, or even want it, but it's probably better the way that it is now.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I'm on a wi10 PC using Mozilla (all signs gone)
I also use iPhone in mobile view and in full view (sigs no longer show)
Its been that way for over two months

✭✭Yes please. Only read forum on mobile so at first was well confused when people spoke about signatures as they are not visible on the mobile version.....could switch to always the full site but its a psin to use ( there's a reason there's a version for phones). Ta.0
