Best use of Double XP? CP or new Character?

I'm torn whether to use the double xp for getting 4 more characters 50 so I have a stam and mag version of each class, or whether to just use the double xp to get my CP from 270 to however high I can manage in 2-3 weeks.

I'd make more characters - at lvl 50 they all earn cp. Since you're past the 160 mark you can make and grind for armor. And cp comes fast anyway....

I'm in the same boat as OP. I have four characters that are low level that I need to get to 50. Have a few at CP level 460ish. Based on your comment, it seems like I'd be better off actually leveling CP. I could rotate dolmens, gain double the XP to level CP, and be farming for end-game jewelry drops. If I level my new characters, the item drops are all useless other than to sell or decon.

Personally I think if you're already at 591, or 621, you may as well use it to level an alternate character. Otherwise get those Champion Points!

Adding: If you're at 270 or so like the OP I don't even think it's a choice. Those CP are vital. Even if you're not an end game min maxer, the difference between max CP and 160 is astounding. It won't make you a God alone, but you have so much more room for error and what you do well will be so much better, you'll be amazed.

I've been the guy in vet PVP as a no CP level 10 on launch day and never left. I've seen every possible way to be underpowered in Cyrodiil since console launch. Please trust me on this. Your life is so much easier at max CP. It's certainly not impossible to do things at 160, people overblow that, but at max your blood pressure will be in a much better place.

If I don't want to grind the Dolmans, does the story give the best amount of XP vs time spent? I've done all the ambient quests on my main, but I just want to get my ALTs leveled to 50 and park them for now.

Just curious, is the grind from around 270 to 560 (or whatever the max is these days) do-able in this event or does the level gap start getting too big. Assuming normal playtime and not 24/7 grinding.

    mix and match

get double xp. and do dungeon dailies on all CP characters. one a day
    then do quests
later do anything to level an alt you want to play but enjoy it mostly, dont make it a job
    -PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf
    ~<{[50]}>~ looks better than *501
