I kind of disagree with this mostly because rpgs are suppose to make you feel like you start in rags and gear looks better the higher level you are, however at endgame it is understandable.
I know what you mean. There is a degree of expected or assumed progression in RPGs, and that is kind of what we already have in place here with better armour and skills and what not, which is absolutely fine. But to have the option to roleplay something else, to give players the choice of what they want to wear or wield (highly polished, finely crafted cuirasses, or ordinary-looking weapons that hide their powers rather than advertise it), that to me is worth considering. I just find the present approach in this and some other games to be a bit prosaic.

In my opinion this is something that -needs- to happen for TESO to stay competitive and appealing.

Competitive? Wut? More Appealing, yes; this would be nice. I would like to move all of my collected costumes into a Wardrobe tab (and out of my inventory ideally).
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

Just add a transmog wardrobe where you can store pretty much any item that you get (adding the item skin to the collection will destroy it) as another ESO+ perk and everyone will be super happy.

As a half measure atleast allow to restyle droped items through crafting, otherwise non-consumable craft is more and more useless (and i don't think that crafting basic furnitures will help here much long term, we all new that best decorations will be available for achievements/crowns or as vet dungeons/trials drops)
