WHAT IS GOING ON!??! LAG!?

Since the maintenacne- the lag on the EU pc server has been totally unplayable. during quiet times- its a crap house 350 but during peak hours? like now 999+ what the hell is going on?! is it just me or is this really really bad service?

The pings in Maelstrom- unacceptable.... my nephews minecraft on his phone has more fluid latency. I mean I'm in an arena... alone.. and its bs. I mean has anyone tried to play Maelstrom arena with these pings? Do you know what its like? the same as Maelstrom Arena without lag - you get screwed over from behind- except now u can't see whats happening.

i ve determined the issue is not on my side- but can we at least get an acknowledgement that there is an issue? I've read there are bad pings worldwide. i mean i think this should take precedence over a new life festival no?
a "we re working on it" does wonders for the mood and morale of the people Zos.

man this is unbearable. we all deserve achievement badges or motif rewards, or mounts for this ***.. they do that right at least..

ZOS have taken down the PC servers three times this week to fix this issue. If it's still ongoing, there is an issue in the line between you and the server because I have no change in my latency whatsoever and I'm in Australia on PC NA

To do that they would have to re-educate the artists working on the festival into network technicians working on server connectivity.

That might take a while.

It is simple what is going on. ZOS did not fix the problem because it boils down to their servers cannot handle the load.

I don't think so. The ping was fine just recently(or at least not nearly as bad as 999+), and i doubt the player population suddenly multiplied.
More likely, some jerk launched a DDoS attack against the TESO servers again.

They don't need someone to do a DDoS attack against them. They just ensure there is a single NPC everyone wants to talk to
