No way should anything cost anywhere near 1,000,000 gold. Sure those of us that have been playing since launch have plenty of coin. But we have to think of the entire player population. New players are the most important to look after, as they're the ones that are very susceptible to moving on without a second thought if the game has certain aspects they're not looking for. Having such things - or anything for that matter - costing 1,000,000 gold will just be a huge barrier to many a new player. It would turn them off, or even worse encourage gold buying/selling, illegal farming, etc etc. I like your idea however. Just get twitchy with such barriers to purchase.as i posted on a identical themed thread (cough cough), i think they should add guards that cost 1m gold to purchase, they come in one of the 4 classes, you gear them, choose skills ect. the guards skills must be lvled though to use morphs and they gain this xp from killing players in your houses with bountys. fun fun. and you get the money from those bounties.

Wow not even out yet and already complaining !
Just wait till it comes out !
Oh wait the New Life festival starts tomorrow, that will keep the flames off of housing for a while.
I think I'm as surprised as most that housing is lacking storage; however, ZOS has committed to quarterly DLC releases and to date they have done a great job. I have every reason to believe I will be happy when Homestead is released; for free to boot. Does this mean I don't want more storage or storage in housing? Hardly. I actually expect housing to at some point have store options. But again, a quarterly DLC release window means they can only do so much.
