Molag kena profitable or not

I know in pvp is hard to autoattack for all the evasion and etc, but if two aa would land and we get the extra spell power from molag kena set, would be profitable?

I mean all skills cost 33% more but would be compensated for the damage? would be noticeable?

Pros more spell power = more damage
Cons less resources and hard to proc

Is that in the practice correct?

Or better would be Skoria or any other thing that would simply give more magicka and that's it?

I never seem to have a problem with proccing molag kena in cyrodil and am currently using lightning staff. Works well with overload.

I have used that set enough to manage my resources fairly well though.

Kena is useful yes, but the 2 piece benefit is really only useful for one class, magicka sorcerer. And useful to them in PvE, I doubt Kena 2 piece has any real place in PvP.

For single target damage on bosses that move around a lot and avoid aoes - that's when I switch to Kena from Illambris

I use kena on my pvp stam sorc. Sorcs have a good cost reduction with their passives so it helps offset the 33% extra charge. With passives my ransack costs 1300 and my wrecking blow under 2k. 500 weapon damage is a great boost coupled with sorc WD passives. I sit over 4k on my sword and board bar. That being said, while I make it work, not everyone will agree in its potential vs all the other cheese sets out there.

Kena is a pain in the toochies to proc in PvP, on the other hand in PvE is quite fun

i was using it on my magika NB, it takes a lot of juggling but can be done. i have since then been using bloodthorn for resource issues and illambris. i might see how bloodthorn performs with kena and report back.
