Last week I was complaining about a lack of maintenance . Touché ZOS .

All you guys complaining about these maintenance patches were clearly not experiencing or even PLAYING the last 2 days when the lag monster was at it's absolute worst. Rubberbanding around, 5 minute delays on ability uses, chat taking 10 mins to finally send etc etc. But from the sounds of it, y'all would rather deal with that endlessly then give them a few hours to HOPEFULLY finally fix the issue.

I've played ESO since its launch on the PC/Mac in April 2014 and, ladies and gentlemen, stuff like this happens on rare occasions.

Most folks understand this, and use the resulting free time for other pursuits. Yes, there's life outside of ESO. Read a magazine, pick up a book, go to a sports game. Spend time with a friend. Run errands. Play another game. The list of other things to do while maintenance is being done on ESO is quite long.

When it's all said and done, come on back and delve once again into the world of Tamriel, and tell your fellow players about the adventures you had outside of Tamriel during maintenance!

They should have a "get new server" event

It's not a server issue. Everything was working fine until Monday's patch. They changed something in that patch that has caused these troubles. I seriously doubt that AT&T has anything to do with this. And I seriously doubt that ZOS just happened to get rid of a bunch of their servers and/or decrease their bandwidth at the exact same time as introducing the patch.

I wish they would just rollback the patch, but they seem reluctant to do that. Maybe the patch introduced housing or New Life Festival assets and so they're reluctant to just scrap it. Whatever the case, these problems started with the patch and will likely continue until they rollback or fix the patch itself.
