Is ESO still good on Xbox one? Is there still a lot of active players in PVE and PVP?

i really Enjoy the game, towns are always full (thanks to One Tamerial, great update). Just make sure you join a guild or two, this game is more fun to play i a group.

PvE has lots of players and is great right now. I can see you having lots of fun for a long time in PvE!

PvP is at both its lowest population and absolute worst balancing in its lifetime. Do not buy ESO at all for PvP. This is not to mention the performance is horrible as well (lag, 5-10FPS in bigger fights, etc).

I'm a PS4 player myself, but I don't see what relevance the PS4 population has in relation to what the OP asked? Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy, I dunno.

PvE there is plenty of people to play with.

PvP is rapidly dwindling, I mean there is a large amount of people playing in the two main servers. But the several others are usually dead (where as during prime time these servers used to have 3 to 4 bars of active players). But I don't think it's due to a lack of players. Rather a lack of incentive to PvP.

PvP used to contain the best way to level (Cyrodiil quests) and towards the start of the game when material was harder to come by the best of it was in cyrodiil. Now the only reason to come to cyrodiil for most is to grind AP which doesn't really compensate you much, because all the gear in cyrodiil is rather useless, past what a special npc offers on the weekends. And his wares are at the mercy of RNG soooo...

Ps4 eu main server is pop capped 3pm-11pm most days but the performance is absolutely terrible. Only need so much as 20-30 players battling in 1 area for the frame rate to drop to eye gouging levels - BUT if you circle said area in a 40meter radius ... You won't feel the frame rate drop, so the way to combat terrible PvP server performance is to not get involved.

Pve on the other hand is just to easy and mind numbingly tedious but of course these are just my opinions.

I can't tell you if its worth buying for Xbox as I am on PS4 (Yes our population is rather large, even PVP is still very active.)

But with the price of the game now, yes its worth buying, but don't get your hopes up for it. ESO has gone down hill for a long time now. (in my opinion) as far as I know PVE is great, (from what I hear) PVP is looking for massive changes and improvements. Being a PVP player only the game is fun but the lag is horrendous, the loading is horrific the maintenance....is off the scale for any MMO I have ever played. I love ESO I really DID love its PVP. I do play but I don't play as much as I did.

There are still tons of people in game (pc). PvP and end game may be declining but the core game is completely worth it, especially if you are a fan of the series. I can imagine leaving the game but never regretting the purchase.

Lots of PvE stuff to do but PvP its broken I play PS4 myself but PC it lags and sets are broken so same with Console but the population on xbox I don't know check out some people who stream on xbox RIP JarJar xbox lol

I play on xbox and have had practically no issues to speak of, I play PvE for questing and exploring and it is a ton of fun. I absolutely love the game, don't know much about PvP so I can't really say about that.

I don't know it's the best mmo on Xbox One the game is so unstable I get kicked to dashboard constantly. So I would probably wait a few months to get it.

People like make up facts based on how they feel about the game.

Ps4 na PVP is more packed then ever. Every day the scourge campaign is poplocked by all 3 factions. And haderous will have 2 bars for every faction.

In the past we would have 1 main campaign but never 2. Over the past 6 months pvp engagement has almost doubled.

One campaign is poplocked, and there's one other campaign that two alliances play in. Oh yes, PvP is really popping

The crown crates really put me off but if you can get past that the game is really good.
