Housing? A Losing proposition

They should just add more bank space. Why do you want another storage location, that could get frustrating having to remember where you stored everything. Just increase bank space instead to cater for all the new gear.

I'm far from disappointed housing isn't coming with storage. In fact, the livestream today made me even more hyped seeing more things we can place in our homes and how versatile the editor will be. I'm happy enough to be able to decorate my own space within the world, a test skeleton for theorycrafting and an easily accessible crafting stations without the lag I get in cities. Stop assuming every player demands storage.

More free bank space would be fine.

Even with 8 characters getting close to maxed on sadde bags, and maxed bank space, there is not enough space to collect even only 2 traits on each set item piece per weight.

What were you thinking ZoS when you added all these set pieces?

That many of them should be entirely ignored? @ZOS_GinaBruno

I hope that what you built can be somehow "stored", since you will be gathering a lot of decorations through dungeons, etc.
I mean 2000 pieces. Where do we store that?!??

I would like to see mannequins that an entire set of gear could be placed upon. It could still even use bank space for all I care, but if had it's own space even better.

What I want if for is to be able to visit home click the mannequin and do a complete armor swap. I have one character that has five different sets of gear used depending on what roll and what activity I am doing. A quick swap would be really nice.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

as i posted on a identical themed thread (cough cough), i think they should add guards that cost 1m gold to purchase, they come in one of the 4 classes, you gear them, choose skills ect. the guards skills must be lvled though to use morphs and they gain this xp from killing players in your houses with bountys. fun fun. and you get the money from those bounties.
No way should anything cost anywhere near 1,000,000 gold. Sure those of us that have been playing since launch have plenty of coin. But we have to think of the entire player population. New players are the most important to look after, as they're the ones that are very susceptible to moving on without a second thought if the game has certain aspects they're not looking for. Having such things - or anything for that matter - costing 1,000,000 gold will just be a huge barrier to many a new player. It would turn them off, or even worse encourage gold buying/selling, illegal farming, etc etc. I like your idea however. Just get twitchy with such barriers to purchase.

Now regarding housing storage. They said it didn't make their initial cut for the primary release of Homestead but it is something they might look into in future to add. And with the support for housing storage on the forums of late I wouldn't be surprised at all if they don't add it sometime in the future.
If you can be anything, be kind.

It is not a house. It's a room in inn.

Wow not even out yet and already complaining !
Just wait till it comes out !
Oh wait the New Life festival starts tomorrow, that will keep the flames off of housing for a while.

I think I'm as surprised as most that housing is lacking storage; however, ZOS has committed to quarterly DLC releases and to date they have done a great job. I have every reason to believe I will be happy when Homestead is released; for free to boot. Does this mean I don't want more storage or storage in housing? Hardly. I actually expect housing to at some point have store options. But again, a quarterly DLC release window means they can only do so much.

I would like storage too, but they said it will be later so I can wait.

Okay, the OP is totally right. Once you start really going after dropped sets in zones you tend to hold on to everything and then whittle it down to get the best traits, purple jewelry, and maybe a few to sell to people asking in zone chat or put in the guild stores.
