So to begin with, this is definately a Timmy Tank (people familiar with CCG's might know the term). It has so many bangs and whistles that even the most ADD teenager in his prime will find enough excitement and animated carnage to keep their concentration. Another attraction to the build is that it requires only that the monster set be farmed. The rest is BoE and most the pieces are common and affordable. A complete set should be under the 150K mark.

I think what makes this the most interesting tank in terms of dealing damage is that a high percentage of it will be coming from the sets:

And so it is only dependant on how high your magicka and spell damage (+ other factors) are that influence how much extra damage you want to deal or how much more tankier your own play style needs to be.

The absolute to the creation is being a DK unfortunately. Lay down a good flame damage talons to keep everyone nice and close, flame chain in a coupla casters / archers. Throw out the taunts to get your tank on and let the electricity pulses.... well.... pulse. As a final crescendo watch as both lightning and flame meteor aoes rain down on your foes.

The exact distribution of CP's and extra abilities i'll leave up to you to make it your own build, but needless to say I've strayed quite over into the max magicka and regen areas and use sharpened weapons. I have no idea about the numbers or what beats what, nor do I care. I'm a Johnny player, so I just make stuff that other people don't for exactly these reasons but can still complete all the content, and are a hell of a lot of fun to play.

Enjoy and Destroy!!

Storm knight seems like it has a low proc chance. That's why I chose to put in overwhelming jewelry/weapons as the other set. Illambris would be cool though. Idk. Stormknight's my only issue here.

Wanted to try something similar on a sorc, but with encase over talons and using swarm mother as the monster set to pull enemies, sorcs get the extra shock damage

Storm Knight is actually really easy to proc just by nudging into a red circle to start taking DoTs. Something I learned quite by accident of course

Once I Gold it up I'm thinking it should be 15K+ over 6 seconds, so 2.5Kdps-ish as long as you can consistently keep this happening. Is that better than Viper even for the damage / time ratio? And if that proc's Illambris then there's another 1.5K dps there. So 'theoretically' (that's all I work with) you might be getting 4K dps without even hitting a button just 'from' SK set.

All I know is that I'm just having a lot of fun with it.

    Hi!
Might i suggest you try Iceheart instead of Ilambris.
The damage is about the same plus you get the damage shield.

Yeah nice and thanks for the input! Normally I'd say yes but Tanks have a fairly low crit chance and Ilambris can actually be firing off BOTH lightning and flame Meteor showers at the same time (looks wicked). I may just give the Iceheart a place in the backpack though for high intensity situations where an extra shield would be better over quadruple the damage (possibly).

I'm old. I don't understand this RIP(add) reference I hear quite often. Is it a good or a bad thing and what does it mean concerning the build? please.

RIP is rest in peace or aka death to proc builds. Saying this would be good for pvp against thise that would try to burst you down with vioer/veli/widowmaker
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

It gives a little damage back to proc builds, but it's not going to change much. Storm knight pulses every 2 sec and thunderbug every 3 second, so you need to be delivering a significant amount of non-proc damage to overcome rally+ Vigor.

Grothdarr would be the better monster set for pvp
