Console Incremental tomorrow - trying to clarify what it means

"Hi all,

We want to give everyone a heads up that we’ll be publishing an incremental patch for PlayStation 4 tomorrow, 12/14 and on Thursday 12/15 for Xbox One. Maintenance will begin at 6:00am EST for both and should last a couple hours. This patch will address the issue where you are unable to log out of the game, among a couple other items; we’ll publish the full patch notes as maintenance is wrapping up for each platform.

Just wondering what the bolded part might be saying.

Does it literally mean some items are being adjusted or am I looking into it too much?

Patches seldom come to console. I was hoping for a bit more detail.

    It means tomorrow/today they will break the console and make the game unplayable just like the PC got yesterday.

    Yeah I guess you're right :/ I certainly hope so!

    As for the performance issue on PC.... let's just hope they don't come to console.

    I agree and i apologise for being bit negative but i can't help feeling it might be for the best if they just use their own pts server a bit more before doing anything. Not being able to logout becomes a non-issue if a patch for it results in not being able to login just sayin

    Don't get me wrong i love ESO maybe a bit too much.

    We all love the game. Like.... a lot. The mismanagement it receives from ZOS is overwhelming though.

    Imagine if a company created ESO that actually improved the game and understood what they were doing. We wouldn't have a totally broken PvP and horrible performance issue to begin with. How cana game's PvP be this broken after so much time?

    It's ridiculous tbh.... our console logout issues are extraordinarily minor compared to most existing problems, despite it being "main priority" in the eyes of Devs for every other game I've played.

    That's one of the major draw backs to online games. You have no choice but to download the patches/updates, even if they cause larger issues than the ones they're supposed to address. At least with other games you get the choice albeit you'll be forced to play offline.

    Apparently, 'items' meant literally just TWO things: the darkness of the game and an instantly respawning NPC.

    My guess is 'items' in this case should be read as 'issues' or 'things' in general, not actual gear items.

    Yep, this is correct. There are 3 total bug fixes, though the logout issue is the one that affects everyone. Tomorrow's Xbox patch is essentially the same as the one we had for PS4 this morning.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno there are approximately 20 major items in both the bug report section and the xbox technical support section that are debilitating, game breaking issues that would be great if you'd pay more attention than a respawning npc.

    Can't even get so much as a we are aware of the issue over there.
