Return of the blue screens ...

Yo peeps, let's discuss the return of the blue screens. In my personal experience, when the game released I used to experience blue screens very regular to the point where I could predict when it was going to happen. It got sooo much infrequent as time passed which is as expected because we've come to accept games don't release these days working perfectly...

For the last 2/3 months I'm getting blue screens, not as often as on release BUT so much more frustrating because every time I get a blue screen I can't just log back in and carry on, I'd accept that.. but now I'm having to log onto an alternative character, log off, then log back into my main JUST to avoid the eternal loading screen.

It doesn't end there though, when I've logged back in on my main I am no longer in cyrodiil... I am back by the tree in grahtwood where I now need to queue back up for PVP in the knowledge that I could be going through the same sh*tty log in process the second I reach a populated area in cyrodiil.

This is tongue-bitingly frustrating for someone who is a PvP player - has anyone else been experiencing this ?

You need to be patient and check issue is happening frequently or just for few times.

I do not understand immediately crying for something that can be related to your own piece of software or hardware!

What makes you think I'm impatient? I patiently waited through the months of blue screens on release and I'm patiently playing through these blue screens, I'm simply posting a discussion on the forums about my experiences.

I clearly stated I'd played from release so when you say you 'don't understand immediately crying..' that's all on you chief haha.

If you're getting blue screens, that would indicate that there is an issue with your hardware.

Possibly, but if you were or if you are on PS4 EU, the chat box is full of people voicing their annoyance at the blue screens they're getting. I've not changed my console since playing this game - if my hardware was faulty it would have been a consistent problem, not disappear for a year then make a return, or would it? I'm not very technically savvy I'm afraid, so these are genuine questions.

you don't say what platform you are on.

i haven't seen a blue screen since windows 98..... and that was a looooooooong time ago.

I have this same issue. "Memory leak" they call it. I played on a PS4, and have upgraded to a PS4 Pro recently. Happens at about the same rate for me. The getting "stuck" in Cyrodiil is happening to everyone at random as far as I can tell with the people I play with regularly. Cyrodiil is just broken. It's the only place in the entire game that I've EVER had blue screens and had a character stuck there, well besides Orsinium. The the log in to alt, back to main is frustrating especially since we can't even log out on PS4..although I hear maintenance is working on that as I type..here's to hoping they fix PvP someday.

Well I am in PS4 NA and had faced this issue once after like 6 months and aborsbed it as normal issue (this can happen due to software / hardware fault and its normal unless not happening frequently)

In my experience BSOD always came on gaming rigs that were assembled, but ever since I started playing ESO, I have been on a gaming laptop and never till now (luckily) ever seen a BSOD.

The BSODs I experienced on desktops were related to either drivers or hardware overheating. So in my humble opinion its not the game (in this ESO) thats causing BSODs. (I wrote this assuming you are on PC).

Yup, exactly what I'm getting. Shame isn't it. I share your hopes my friend however fruitless they may seem currently

Sorry mate, I should have stated I was on PS4. Thanks for your reply though, appreciate any help/info

i haven't seen a blue screen since windows 98..... and that was a looooooooong time ago.

It's a little off topic, but to be fair Windows 10's been screwing people with BSODs and some of their faulty patches and conflicting hardware. I recommend people avoid the thing entirely.

More ON topic, have you tested if it's overheating or are you sure it's the leak? If it's the leak, eeeh. Don't expect too much from this patch. $:\$

I don't get the blue screens, but either screen lockup and have to alt/ctr/del to get out or black screen and also have to alt/ctr/del to get out and relog in.

Hi. On your re-log do you experience the same problems I've mentioned, like no longer in pvp but have to re-queue for the campaign? Thanks
