Sets I would like to see buffed next patch

So, with the Homestead update being partially a balance patch on the side, I'd like to post my two cents about a few sets you've probably brushed under the rug as being dead and buried, in the hopes they'll see some love in February. Also, talking from a PvE standpoint here.

Essence Thief

Here we have the beginning of a common theme with ESO DLC: Hyped up sets exclusive to the content, that just plain suck.

Change the proc requirements to be on critical damage and reduce the proc chance to 10% OR
Buff the proc chance to 30% and increase the damage bonus duration to 15 seconds OR
Change the proc requirement to be on heavy attack, with a 100% chance, in which case remove or severely nerf the health and stamina restore and add an 8 second cooldown
and make the essence itself easier to collect like holy lord above who's idea was it to design it that way I was under the impression it would be some orb that gets drawn towards you not some dinky rune you need to run a marathon just to reach like come on guys what is this even

This set is probably really good and I'm just greedy but...

Reduce the cooldown to 5 seconds from 6

I like this set. I dunno,I just like it. It's just so...Redundant.

Add Minor Savagery to the five piece bonus OR
Add an extra 50 weapon damage to the five piece bonus OR
Both I mean why not

Ashen Grip

Look at this! Isn't that so cool sounding? Now you can be an over-the-top wannabe Dragonborn too! Never mind, just roll Wannabe Dragonborn.

Remove the cooldown, half the damage and change the 2 piece bonus to max stamina.

Dude...I love this set. Really, I do. It's so cool, and have you seen the neat thorns effect that go on your character's wrists? Ballin', just ballin'. Also, it's just another garbage set that no one remembers.

Raise the weapon damage bonus to 600 (500 is probably more reasonable but I can dream okay) and buff the proc chance to 20%

Anyway, that's just a few ideas I've got. Might come back and add some more; or hey, why don't you?

All it would take for Essence Thief to be actually useful would be if the Essence would just automatically come towards you instead of having to go after it. Briarheart just needs a reduction in cooldown time from 15 to 10-12 for it to have greater uptime. That 5 second gap makes it average at best.

As for what sets I would like to see buffed.

Combat Physician

Remove the cooldown so it can proc on multiple people and this set becomes amazing.

Powerful Assault

Upgrade the max number of people affected to 6 and up the buff to 200 extra Spell and Weapon Damage and it instantly makes support DPS builds a thing.

I love this together with Ilambris on my High Elf "Lightning god".

Take out the max health and replace with max magicka.

Oh boy. Toothrow is already one of the best sets one can run (without a procced effect).

It´s redundant for endgame pve - yeah. But it´s not made for engame pve. Anywhere where you do not run major savagery per default it´s on of the n1 dmg sets.

Personally I'd rather see all crafting sets get a huge bonus, and all proc world/monster sets get a small nerf.
Viper + Widowmaker + Duneriper = OHKO, each proc needs like a 20% dmg reduction, they're ridiculous.

I disagree on this one. The max health is good because most magicka builds if they go all light are horribly squishy. This gives some needed health.

Essence thief just needs to proc on light,heavy, and weapon abilities; the rune I do agree needs to run towards you rather than run away from you.

Maybe but considering that NMG only really helps Stamina users, whereas Powerful Assault would benefit Magic users as well as Stamina Users it would at least be useful, not to mention that over-penetration is a thing in good Trial Groups so sometimes NMG isn't needed.

This would make the set perfect! Weapon Abilities for proc as well as attacks, and essence floats toward the character at least initially.

I second the Powerful Assault. I like the idea of stamina support dps.
