I have many characters and few are repeated builds. But my absolute favorite is mag DK, with mag templar and stam DK both coming in right behind that. I'm working on my stam NB right now, and while it is fun, its less fun.

I have a lvl 50 Stamplar DPS I have been neglecting. I really should start playing on her more reliably, level her fighters guild and all... But I don't like her so much. I just want to learn DPS, and stamina is tougher to learn in my opinion, so I thought it would be a great way to learn well.

I also have a lvl 39 Argonian saptank, to practice tanking. Once she is 50, though, I think she will get the same neglect as my Stamplar. Or respecced into a healer.

My Dragonknight healer gets all my attention. I enjoy her too much. Grinding some dps gear for her to make myself learn dps that way. She will always be my healer, though.

Hey I'm not the only one! I try to make a stam character, like my new Nord Templar tank. She's slowly morphing into another magicka healer. My Breton werewolf NB is now a vampire magblade and evolved into a healer. My MagDK has been doing nothing since I specced her for dps. I'm so glad I'm not alone in this weird little sickness lol

At this point in the game with champ points shared across all chars (instead of insane vet rank grind per character), there's no disadvantage to having multiple characters. It's super easy to level up a new one.

I essentially have one magicka race and one stamina race of each class, aside from Stamina Nightblades because I choose to maintain a ganker on each alliance so I can take advantage of any situation on the map.

I play a Khajiit magicka Nightblade tank, because it's flexible, selfhealing, and fun. And it confuses people who would expect me to be a stealthy stamina damage dealer

I play magicka healer, don't really use stamina for anything apart from sprinting and block/dodge occasionally.

This poll, hints at what the majority of players run, as you can see as of now most voted for magicka centric builds.

The alleged 'stam' bias that claims most people run stamina centric builds because of the 'meta' a fallcy, magic centric player style will always be the most popular.

On the note. I like warrior( stamina) play styles because I like to be up in my opponents face and deliver a beating.

I'm a simple player and always go with just one main character. I wanted her to be a mystic archer (like she has been through numerous games for a couple decades). I tried her briefly as a NB and hated how it worked in ESO (short bow range, instantly surrendering stealth upon attack). Then I tried her as a stamsorc, relying on a clannfear to help compensate for ESOs dislike of actual long range stealthy combat. That worked pretty well but the thing is, she will not pick up a real melee weapon - never has, never will. I ended up concluding that like so many games that litter my trashpile, ESO really wants a bow user to take up daggers (yawn). A bow user backed up by magic instead of blade does not work very well in ESO. To put a finer point on it, a bow/bow stamsorc has significant limitations.

Rather than abandoning the game, I tried a magic templar. Yes, it gave up the bow, but we could deal with using starwars light sabres (aedric spears) instead of 'real' melee weapons, and the staves are wonderfully done in ESO. Well, we fell in love with both the class and healing. So a happy ending. My elf is delighted now, being a healing templar.

My main is a Stamplar and I love him. The whole "Holy Warrior" style is very cool. But they are not really viable in difficult content. And even if they pulled better DPS, most difficult content is not really melee friendly due to boss mechanics that punish stacking on boss. So I run a magicka Sorcerer now. Which is still pretty neat. Ilambris + Burning Spellweave and stuff is always being set on fire or fried by lightning, which is fun.

I love my 3 Ilambris sets so I have one on the magicka DK, one on the stamina sorc and one on the magicka sorc. And I have 8 characters, 3 magicka 8 stamina. So I use whoever I'm in the mood for at the time.

Still 1vXing on my DW Magicka Sorc

Zenimax has killed the balance though. My shields are supposed to be powerful to warrant their cost, short duration, and forced recasting so often which results in me being forced to burst targets in a 4-5sec timeframe.

All it takes is one Stamblade with Viper to cut through 1.5 shields at once right now. Add that in with an Incap, and all of a sudden one tanker can end a 1v1 in seconds no matter their skill level. It used to take a 100% ganking spec with zero sustain/survivability or emperorship to do that.

Have a character for every class stamina and magicka both.

Enjoy playing my magicka characters much more than my easy-mode push button stamina characters. Really looking forward to ZoS balancing out stamina and magicka, if they manage to do it correctly. I'm hoping @Wrobel and @ZOS_RichLambert really think about this "balance" patch and don't *** it up like most patches they've released since Tamriel Unlimited.

I still have some faith left, don't kill it off for good.

PS; You may want to consider some server upgrades or some code cleaning. The latency issues with this game are not on par with what one would expect from a game in this day and age.
