I was able to log onto the game and play this morning but every time I logged off...I had to reset my password. When the game when down for maintenance, I updated my email security and passwords to ensure the safety of my accounts. I have been trying to log in for the past hour or so now and it keeps telling me my password and or username are incorrect. I know that I am entering the correct password/username because I had written them down every time I changed them. I have been trying to get a password reset email sent to my account email but it's been over and hour now and I still have not received one. I have tried multiple times for this reset email and still nothing. I've also tried the forgot user ID option...but still not getting an email to fix my problem. I believe that my account has been hacked but I am still able to answer the security questions when being asked them while applying for password reset email. Someone please help me as I am getting very frustrated. ESO needs to have a two step verification or something to help with these issues. Is there a reason why I can't receive the emails? I was getting them every time I had to reset this morning...why are they stopping now?

    yes...I have checked it and have emptied it out as well so any new emails would show.... But like I said...I was getting the emails earlier this morning...In my Inbox...so I know they would be showing up in my inbox...not in my spam.

    I know in the past with web portals and multiple requests it can cause things like your account to be locked up. I don't know the stock time to unlock, but it should not be too long.

    Have you tried another browser? Perhaps a browers update messed with some security settings or an addon or script blocker to prevent successful password change.

    In the meantime, open a support ticket, hopefully that email will show up as you have to respond to it in turn to get a person to respond.

    I haven't updated any browser and I only use just the one browser. Even if it did prevent the password change...my old password should still work. I have opened a ticket with support about an hour ago on this matter...I have not received anything in response since. It's almost like I don't exist...not saying i'm being ignored...just almost like my account isn't there anymore....even though I can input info to get the email sent....it's just not getting to me for some reason. Making me believe that someone has changed something to where I can't get back into my account.

    There is two step, if someone from another IP logs into your account they have to check their email for a code. So if you didn't get that email and your email isn't compromised, then your account isn't compromised.

    I have had it take 2 hours before a reset email came through
    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    I got two emails earlier this morning about a login from and unkown IP.....which is why I kept resetting my password...also because if I logged out...it kept saying incorrect password. There were also times when I first tried logging into the game...it would say that the account was already logged in and it would boot me back to the sign in screen with and error 304 I think.

    I was playing the game as the servers went down for maintenance. Now I can't login with the password I had used last and I can't get any password or user ID reset emails...that's my problem in a nut shell...I had to change my password 2-3 times already this morning before the maintenance because of suspicious activity. I really wish there was a live tech support agent I could talk to to get this resolved...

    Not sure how I'm going to get help if I can't even get an automated response back when I submit a ticket. My ticket number or reference number is 161213-002160 if that helps. Somebody has to be able to do something on this forum...how am I supposed to be helped when your system wont reply to me or acknowledge that I exist?
