@DMuehlhausen ...what class are you playing?
basically as soon as you see an enemy players or npc's health bar get around 50% or lower you hit them with a "execute" a couple of times and they'll generally drop...my favorite to use is dawn's wrath - it leaves them as a pile of ash

Dawn's Wrath is the skill tree. I believe you mean Radiant Destruction, and that's the only ability that starts to trigger the extra damage at 50%. Most others don't kick in until 25-20%.

hey @ArchMikem ...it's that sorcerer lightening move that turns folks into a pile of ash...can't remember name right now...your right though- i don't think it kicks in 'til around 30% health...
i hate 2nd execute. its so damn weak. when you think about it the only difference between wrecking blow and an instant cast ability is instant cast ability do damage then a 1s period of time before you can cast it again. whereas wrecking blow just makes you wait the 1s before the first skill hits, as such 2nd execute does not add to dps until 8% health left.

That's Radiant Oppression.
If you then wondered where it came from, it came from someone 123 feet away behind 10 teammates.
If you then wondered who would be that much of a jerk to do that?
Well, that's me. Sorry ... not sorry.

That being said I have seen people talking about Execute skills, and saw it on a tool tip, but how are they used? Is it like the Execute skill in WoW, when an enemy is below 20% life it's 100% crit I believe and based of Rage or something like, or does it do just a higher base damage?
Sorry I just never noticed that before and just want to understand what it is.
I don't view Poison Injection as a legit execute. Even if the damage is increased for lower health targets under 50%, it's still a damage over time over 10 seconds. Yes Radiant is the same way, but Radiant does far increased damage and ticks much faster.
