Don't play other MMOs at the moment.

I played just fine after the patch, maybe later things went to poo but while I was on I was pleasantly surprised.

But when it is one of those patches, I have a few games I play, War Thunder sometimes you just like to blow stuff up, Far Cry Primal, Batman Telltale, Dragon Age Inquisition, I have games in my library I bought when they were on sale I have not even installed yet, or it's catch up on TV time, depends on my mood,

Microsoft Puzzle, Microsoft Sudoku, Cribbage, Spades and Hearts. No those aren't MMOs but they kill time without an investment of more time.

Y'all act like you've never seen down time in an MMO or additional downtime over an unexpected error. In other words... y'all act like you've never played an MMO before. Every time there is unexpected downtime there is the usual few posts...
#1 condemning the devs
#2 demanding compensation for not being able to play
#3 ridiculous ideas on how to prevent downtime
#4 comparing the MMO that is down to another MMO that is up(but also had unexpected downtime)
#5 a display of knowledge on how they could do better(the pseudo job app)
#6 a display of a complete lack of knowledge on how it all works
And #7 the one guy that trolls all of the other 6 because he's bored.

Seriously... If you were that good, you would be working there already, it any of the same ideas that have been tossed about for years would actually work, they would do them and if anything you say about it actually mattered, an employee would be letting you know how good and/or thoughtful your input was.

So your meme about whining isnt quite right. It should say: You know your solutions dont work, you know your complaints are invalid. Stop whining.

I only play one character and we only play one game at a time. I have trouble getting my head (and fingers) to adjust to more than one game at a time.

So my character has had long careers sequentially in DiabloII, Baldurs Gate II, Oblivion, Skyrim. . . and now ESO is our one an only home for a time (probably quite a long time). First MMO I've ever played and. . . there are pros and cons.

I'm active on several forums and write fan fiction so there are plenty of activities related to my character when ESO is down so they can fix and maintain things. Yes, sometimes the maintenance is inconvenient but I relish not having to mess with mods, load orders, and other tech stuff myself in order to play.

Usually I go back to playing ESO, as it stands though I am taking a break from ESO to play the Division and Goat Simulator (easily the stupidest and most oddly entertaining purchase I have made in a long time).
