Well, theorically this game needs months of maintenance to fix everything they screw up. This happens when people add things and don't fix whats already in the game.

Not sure what the problem is but I do know that there was an insane amount of lag in game last night in the PVE zones. Guessing that it's possible that the first maintenance broke something? This is only speculation of course.1 -

knavery✭✭It's clear they don't provide around-the-clock support for their product. If the game has problems at night, everyone is SOL until morning. They then hop on it and force people to wait another 8-10 hours.

Fallen_Ray✭✭✭✭✭Have you even experienced the amount of crashes, infinite loading screens delayed texture rendering, bug at the crafting stations that pups the same materials for clothing and blacksmithing stations rendering crafting impossible (temp solution logout and back in), animation delays during combat or the most recent logout bug at certain regions. I could go on.
The game is basically screaming at its creators for maintenance and fixes. Of course we know that most of these maintenance are just server resets to clear ram, cache, etc. But it's something that must be done.
If it helps you understand it better, leave your PC running for a month without turning it off nor putting it to hibernate nor sleep. then Open the task manager and check CPU performance and memory usage. Heck the slow computer will already tell you its time for a shutdown before even checking the performance.

What is really sad is some folks pay a monthly fee to play their game. Yesterday 10 hours were used on a maintenance that has now caused another maintenance for who knows how long. ESO plus members should at least be reimbursed with crowns for the inconvenience caused by ZOS personnel that clearly don't know their arse from a hole in the ground. Yesterday evening in almost all areas of the game lag and ping rates were skyrocketing which for many players made the game completely unplayable.1 -

Yeah I'll probably let mine run out. I have a couple months left on it, but I usually steer clear of giving my money to businesses that don't provide me the service I'm paying for.

✭Hot fixes happen in all mmo's it is a part of the online experience, I am glad they do them instead of waiting for the next cycle, I just wish zos was more Johnny on the spot with larger issues plaguing the game, I guess those are bit more in depth to fix.Edited by kevlarto_ESO on December 13, 2016 4:32PM0 -
