That either means they are diligently working on solving the problem, or somebody brought in a box of doughnuts.

It probably mean that someone somewhere knows of the issue, but they don't tell us anything. The public relations when it comes to these kind of issues is worse than any mmo I've ever played.

Multiple Guildies had this tonight. Nothing worth mentioning happened to them, but I bet someone had some rage from a poorly timed crash / rollback.

I was in a dungeon PUG and group failed at last boss. So I went back to town, cleaned up my inventory, deconstructed items, the usual post dungeon stuff. Huge lag spike hit, but I had other matters to attend to, so I exited the game before I was kicked. When I came back, it showed I was still in the dungeon. Sure enough, when I get in, I'm back at the spot I was just before I entered and my inventory is full of random dungeon loot.

At least I didn't have a monster helm to lose this time, but I exited right there and decided not to try again for a while because I may not be so lucky next time.

Wow, got in and the lag was appalling! Harvesting a node, my character would just stand there for almost three seconds before starting the animation. I just bailed on the game for tonight rather than try to deal with that. I didn't even want to bother with combat.

The game was a mess last night for me and my guildies. No rollbacks for me--but several crashes, weird login problems, wayshrines glitching, crazy lag, etc. All my guildees were having the same problems. We went through a dungeon with several of us crashing, having to log out and in, and lag problems just to make it through.

I don't know what was in that patch, but I wish they would rollback THAT.

So it only took them 10 hours to finally tell us that servers going down in 30 mins for more maintenance to fix the issue that they never acknowledged. [sarcasm] Good job! [/sarcasm]

Out of curiosity, why does it seem like after every patch (each with several hours of preparation) since the Shadows of the Hist update, the server is immediately very unstable and requires another maintenance shortly after? This feels like an almost weekly occurrence.

Buddy and I were leveling in IC and both getting hit by 999+ ping spikes...like 3-5 second freezes before the game returned to normal. Would hardly call ping issues "fixed."

@ZOS: You couldn't bring the damn server down at 4am? You had to do it during the day when most people are awake? I mean it's not like you can look back at your track record and see that your maintenance usually get delayed and 4 hours turn into 6 etc. Smooth. The only thing that is consistent about you is how inconsistent you are.

***, players were complaining about lag all evening yesterday. They knew.
They also knew they were going to do a maintenance, but in typical ZOS fashion kept us in the dark and waited until the last minute to tell us.

Got a small Rollback yesterday which ended up working for my favor since it dropped me off in Old Orsinium where I was heading to anyway.

I would like to say tho they seemed to have at least fixed the stam regen bug as several of us noticed we were not running out of stam constantly on cp 561 characters with everything into regen and reduction, med. armor, etc. Was even able to un-slot WW and barely touch my pricey stam quad pots.
