Do you have someone on staff monitoring the lousy performance of your game in Cyrodiil - Trueflame?

Today is the beginning on the campaign on PS4 na scourge. The lag, like usual, was worse than the previous time. I lost all motivation to play even after spending some time adjusting my new build. I don't get how anyone plays through that.

Played for 3 hours (XBox NA-Haderus) lag free even at places like Sejanus. Then the blues decided taking an undefended non inner 6 keep required 164,937 players without siege after knocking down the front door.

Oh wait, they weren't trying to take it. They were just sitting there farming AP and disconnects because that's the cool new thing to do since they can no longer hide 50 deep in a resource tower.

There really has to be a better way to give out AP than this. Defending a keep is one thing but using 100 people to sit in the courtyard with no intention of actually taking a keep is pretty weak.

Also, getting kicked from this and booting people back to PVE to go hang out in a 113 person queue is the worst. Can we get a bug fix on that one?

From what I hear a lot of them actually PLAY in the lag with us. It's not that they don't know what's going on, it's that improving performance is hard and expensive. Though it should be noted that what we're experiencing now is (I believe) literally orders of magnitude better than the situation in the past. I'm not saying you don't have a right to complain (indeed you should if you want anything to ever get done about it), just mentioning that they have been making improvements as best they can, as time goes by. It just kind of sucks that it's not better now.

We had a good 2 month run where the lag on TF was bearable during NA primetime on weekends, but this past weekend was a sh*t show. I understand they are a business and need to make money, so new dlcs, crown crates, etc. I get it. However, in a game ridden with issues and players begging for improvements, we have to wonder where our sub money is going. ZOS has it well within their capacity to see they have X amt of people paying X amt of $ each month and only using one small zone of the game X amt of time they spend logged in. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think playerbase loyalty should account for something in this equation and should be rewarded with, at the very least, a promise to address and improve with some sort of time table.

We're going on 2 yrs now with largely the same performance complaints on performance with many players feeling their complaints largely ignored. I don't think I'm alone when I say alot of us still only log in because there just isn't a better game out there right now, but as soon as there is, we're out.

you can actually control the lag for the most part of pc TF, large gate fights effect the servers more than anything in cyro and for over an hour we had literally 100+ ad humping ash gate causing the worst server perfomance possible last night, Later we had 3-4 raids of ep sitting in dragonclaw causing problems aswell. Ive seen 50 on 50s with 200 ping but when you get 100+ it just cant handle it still

Gina said today's maintenance is taking longer than usual because they are working on some backend stuff. Fingers crossed it helps out with the recent lag issues.

It's funny, I see red and yellow doing this constantly in scourge xbox NA. Literally 30-40 come rushing out of the doorway and basically locks up the game.

Every few months the overall performance of the PvP handling improves. Might not be in leaps and bounds and sometimes it might appear downright ***, but it does improve.

How you might ask, fingers barely able to smudge the keys fast enough to be coherent?

Because when the game was first launched you'd regularly have PvP with 2 FPS; constant rollback of the server on a nightly basis; continuous ping of over 2-300 even for those who otherwise have exceptional ping; skill delays and rubber banding that makes today's pale in comparison and the same lag inducing behaviour but without the same level of negative effects.

Might still be god awful, but unless you've a seriously short term memory and/or haven't been playing the game since release then you'll have seen an overall improvement in what the server can handle during the lifetime of the game so far.

The incentives to zerg outweigh the incentives to spread out. Therefore, most players zerg, thus ruining the experience for everyone.

There's probably some game theory/ economic term for this phenomenon.
