probably when i thought i could get away with 7 tempers on my best sharpened weapon at the time- a viper great sword thinking 87 percent would be enough to improve the weapon to gold, and i was too low on gold/patience/intelligence to get the extra temper. ..... it wasn't.

Back when the bounty system was just released, i went on a killing spree and gathered hefty 45k bounty. Didn't know that when a guard kills you, you lose your gold also. Since that day i've turned off the "Attack innocents" option...

There's one of the Wrothgar blacksmithing surveys (3? the one up the top) where I would always take the wayshrine to the right and run across to it.

90% of the time I would take a large fall that would result in my death.

But quite often at the bottom of that fall I would see another fool who had done the same thing.

Two ghosts dancing in the moonlight really is a special bonding experience.

I've also since realised it's better to go to the wayshrine to the south of the survey. It's about the same distance run, and no risk of falling.
