[Suggestion]: Why we need a token system

So in the past few days I has been farming normal MA for a set I want every free moment, except when I'm roleplaying. I've seen many people in zone and guild chat looking for a tank or healer for many times. I also know there is a long line of dps waiting in group finder. I can do all 3 roles. I can help them, yet I feel the reward is not worth for me to step outside of the arena to help them. Now don't say I'm selfish for doing so. I only have a limit time to play, and if I just keep helping people farming for their set, then who's gonna farm MY set for me?

Rather than spend time playing all the dungeons, grouping with all kind of different people, we're stuck with a "best" farming group, or solo, farm 1 single dungeon over and over again till we sick of it, yet still don't get the piece of gear we want. Newbies who just wanna try it out but don't have enough dps to get into the "max-dps-burn-thru-mechanic-farming-group", because that kind of group is the most effective way to get gear. This make the gaming experience become boring, frustrating, and not fun at all. This also make filling a group harder, because unless there is a piece of gear in that dungeon that one need, they won't waste their limit game time to run it. The dungeon runners community is full of people who WANT to find a group for dungeon, just not THAT dungeon, so in the end we rarely find a group at all.

This is why we need a token system. All the dungeons, or at least, a group of dungeons should give the same token. Running any normal dungeon will give you silver token, vet give you gold token. Beside that, WGT and ICP give another kind of tokens, called IC silver and gold token, Maelstrom give MA token... ect... And if you want to get a v16 divine boot of Scathing Mage for example, you need 20 silver tokens, 20 gold, and 10 IC silver + 5 IC gold tokens. Or you want a v15 Winterborn ring, you need 20 silver, 20 gold, 20 MA silver tokens, v16 rings or MA weapons would take 20 silver, 20 gold and 20 MA gold. With this system, people will have more reason to run more different dungeons.

It also help finding a group, specially in group finder easier, because as in another thread I posted a week ago, if tanks have more reason to queue for more runs after they've finished their daily random and pledges, dps can find a group faster and they are not too desperate to the point they have to sign up as something they can't do just to find a group. And more "real" tank using group finder also mean you have more chance to meet a "real" one rather than a dps-pretend-to-be-tank.

    Because it is already there with pledge keys. Well, may not the same but not similar.
    And even with this system, once tanks get their gear, there will be no reason for then to stay around.

    They will need to run more variety dungeons to get gear than they do right now. To make the system better, ZOS can also allow you to trade tokens for upgrade mats like Dreugh Wax or Tempering Alloy. Lets say 20 silver and 10 gold/ gold upgrade mats. That way when a tank is idle, they would rather run a dungeon than solo a MA for the 100 times just to get that danm ring.

    The pledge keys is not the same. Pledge keys don't give you IC sets, Maelstrom sets, Monster Helms... You don't get more than 1 silver and 1 gold key a day, and there is no reason to run more or run different dungeons after you've finished the pledge, except if you want to farm that dungeon for the 99 times trying to get a piece of gear.

    If you could earn tokens and then trade those tokens in for whatever gear you want, that would be great. I've seen lots of posts of people complaining about the RNG failing them over and over and doing dungeons dozens of times to finish acquiring a set of gear. A token system would completely remedy this.

    Keep talking about vMA token system and they will just make 1 token per run, needing 100 tokens for a stupid weapon.

    yeah do something about this horrible maelstrom RNG
    i quit doing maelstrom because its useless to gamble 1 hour for a weapon
    on other note, i'd do 20-30 runs for a guaranteed chance to get the weapon i want, which is quite possible in a token systems.

    Q1 -> homes and only in Q2 they will put some new pve. So untill summer there will be no any tokens lol u MUST grind this *** in their opinion i guess

    With the insane amount of grinding there is in this game, yes, a token system is most needed.

    I don't mind having to farm a little bit to get the drops I need, but when you are running COA 100+ times looking for the divine gloves, or worse yet, an Inferno staff of Burning Spellweave in Precise or Sharpened, that's when I begin to draw a line.

    It took over a month of running pledges every day, twice and sometimes 3 times on characters and 150 keys to finally get the Kra'ghs to drop in divines, and I'm still running ICP with guild mates to try to find a Scathing Mage Chest in Divines.

    All I'm doing now is grind, grind, grind and it's not enjoyable. The game is beginning to get very, very boring rather quickly and unfortunately, we are not going to really get any actual NEW content (Storyline zones) until sometime around summer 2017 (or later), which means all we really have is more grinding, and decorating new homes in Feb.
    ZOS needs to stop using artificial ways to try to keep players in the game. It's not working and more and more players are beginning to complain about it.

    Now, most players wouldn't be having much of an issue with the farming/grinding of armor drops if ZOS hadn't implemented the damn BOP drops in dungeons. People could sell what they didn't need in Guild Stores, but that is not the direction ZOS took us, so we are forced to find 3 other people to grind with.

    ZOS also needs to get rid of Properous and Training from ALL gear drops. Prosperous and Training traits should be Crafted Traits only!!

    In regards to the Undaunted Pledge keys and drops, again, it is obvious ZOS has tuned things up so you get the undesirable drops a whole lot more. Older helms in Training and Properous, with divines few and far between and I feel a token system where you would need 100 keys to buy the shoulder of choice is more than needed and fair.
    This also goes for VMA and VDSA, I would even push so far as to allow the normal versions to give a token as well.

    Just remember ZOS: All work and no play makes this game, dull, dull, dull!!

    We need a token system for weapons. It does not matter if it's vDSA, vMA, overland or normal dungeons:

    If there is no unique sharpened weapon the grind is a pain in the ass. I would go as far as claiming that the system is broken at its current state.

    If they continue this trend ESO will turn into a Korean Grindhouse.

    We need a change fast.

    Three options I see at the moment:

    - Remove the trait system because it is totally unbalanced anyway (sharpened is BiS in 99,99% of the situations, impen in PVP; divines PVE) -- > make unique sets for PVP and PVE
    - Buff traits to be on par with sharpened
    - add a token system

    450 runs, no Sharpened Inferno, no hope to get it in the next 450 runs.

    I'm giving ZOS a chance to fix this until the next big update. If there's still no fair itemization/competition, I'm off to Black Desert. Like most of the ESO players I know that have been screwed by vMA RNG. Many have already made this step and are very happy.

    You can't limit tokens to DLC only content (WGT, ICP, RoM, CoS, and MA)
