The only thing it'll allow is double crafted sets i guess.

Nothing else will change you can still go 1x crafted set and 1x dropped set already.

Given the problems elsewhere and how the revs had to come up with new ways of building dungeons because the base game ones were created made them almost impossible to modify, best guess is that it's a bigger issue than we think.

Having worked on a couple of mmo games in the past along with websites I can say categorically that just because it sounds easy to do does not mean that it is. If the rings are hooked up to the guts of the game engine then making the new lists for them to be craft able and still intereact in the same way with every other element could be a seriouse challenge.

Also remember rule one of mmo design.... never give the little darlings everything they want, that way for the most part they keep checking back to see if you've done it, you wouldn't believe how much good that does the retention figures >:)

It's a strange place. A thousand diamonds or rubies are worth absolutely nothing, yet a stack of useless foul hide is valuable.

This disturbs me more than the jewelry crafting.

And, I never understood why they would go as far as to make precious gems valueless.

The lack of jewellery crafting is quite an annoyance. To wear 2 sets I would have to wear the dropped nonsense, which mainly has RNG and pointless traits, whereas I feel if you've invested all that time in becoming a 9 trait crafter, you really should be able to make a bloody ring, and yet the trade is made relatively valueless due to the prevelance of full RNG dropped sets.

I mean, even Argos can make jewellery these days.

In the beginning, when jewelry for drop sets was relatively uncommon, i was ok with it.

It was a single cannot craft element. Its was unique to drops. Ok thats fine.
Crafted could make armor and weapons of any type, any level.
Drops gave armor of a single type and some gave weapons or jewelry but most did not and mostly restricted levels of availability.

Crafted and drops had separate edges.

But now that 1T made all the changes to drop sets and jewels and weapons for all, all scaled to level - crafted has lost most any non-cosmetic edge other than convenienes - its quicker to craft.

While adding jewels to crafting would be obvious as part of a 1T -like crafting finish, i am actually more in favor of giving crafted the ability to drop at crafting one of the 2-3-4pc bonuses spnthey can create 4pc versions of the crafted sets.

With that, crafted gains its own unique elements, you expand the number of types of crafted sets dramatically and you add lots of build diversity options such as 5-4-2 having alk three end set bonuses for two-handed weapons, bows and staves builds.

Will settle fow jewels but... why settle?

    See sig for more.

And then, in quests that include families, grown adults that seem to be about the age of their parents are said to be "just a child" :T

It's so weird. I mean, there is Hildegard, she is probably the youngest looking npc in the game (and she is below the minimum Nord height), but that's pretty much it.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

@sirston Steal more; portable champer pots exist in the loot table. Also we have it from the Loremaster that some of the buckets you see around Tamriel are used for that purpose.

I know they have chamber pots, but part of the game you go into the sewers of different cities and the sewers are only used for storm drain control? either the people are resource wasteful with brick or just bad at planning.

maybe we just havn't found the recipe on how to make them yet.

For example, I could not make black coffee until I found the recipe. I had no idea that Black Coffee was made with coffee!
The secret of making Baked Potatoes also eluded me until I found the recipe. Until then I was throwing potatoes against the wall, hitting them with my mace, until I discovered you could bake them! I would have never figured that out without the recipe!

Just because our characters can't do it doesn't mean no one can.

Otherwise there's no one growing food (in spite of all the farms we see), no one currently making furniture, no one building houses, no one breaking in or training horses and other mounts, no one making all the non-armour clothes we can steal (or the other items we can steal), and so on.

(Although only being able to cook something with a recipe is silly. I literally laughed out loud when I found a recipe for baked potatoes. I have a friend who screwed up an omelette and I'm pretty sure even he could bake a potato without a recipe.)

I've stolen a few chamber pots in Tamriel, since the Justice system got added. So, no, the Restrooms are there, it's just slightly less hygienic than you're thinking.

Why do you need them in the game? What is the big deal here? Lots of mmorpgs do not have children it seems the only kind of people who want them around are the one with some issues.

The NPCs of Tamriel heard player characters were coming to teabag everything from corses to small furry animals, and all hid the children in well camoflaged underground bunkers? :p

Actually the ones who think that sort of thing may be the ones with issues.
Most of the others just notice that something feels "off" if there are only adults in a town, all towns; of if several quests feature fully adult "sons" or "daughters" in dire need of holding hands and "rescuing" where said rescue means walking a dozend steps with them... you know, the "my mom still treats me like a kid" excuse only works that one time in stormhaven...

If the kids in Skyrim are anything to go by, I'm not overly fussed there are next to no children in the game.
