Warframe isn't my cup of tea. I don't like the setting at all, so I am not a good person to give an opinion on it.
GW2 is a very good game, but I am not a fan of their story telling. I put up with it because of the gigantic potential the world had, but after the third time they used the "kill the friend" strategy, I realized that it wasn't making me feel anything anymore, because I already expected it to happen whenever a character got a little more attention than the others (not to mention that, some times, they used the same characters for it, through illusions and such). There are some characters that have more than one dimension, but they are few and far apart (I like how they wrote a character called Canach, although they changed his appearance radically after the first part of his story and the other characters didn't seem to notice the change, which was a bad move). ✭✭✭✭✭I think the Devs deserve some credit for One Tamriel in the PVE focus of it . This game is a lot better with zones open and guilds are better for that . I think the Dev teams recent silence after so many bugs is what has put the community off . Silence is always bad in gaming and I know I've said that before but they need to know it hurts their reputation and does not protect it . Better to be vocal ZOS even with tough subjects then quiet .2 -

✭Why in hell anyone would vote this #1 is beyond me... game is great, but ZOS is guilty of pure neglect when it comes to fixing serious issues, they don't deserve any reward for their abysmal performance wrt timely fixes. 4 months with broken proc sets, 1+ year with performance issues in cyrodiil, 1+ week of broken login on EU server, almost 3 years with broken in-combat issue, 2+ years of templar gap closer issues, and the list goes on and on...

I never connected with the story in GW2. The game and mechanics were OK, but I never felt that I had a purpose in life. Eventually, I got bored of it and never logged back in. WoW has a much better story, but I constantly felt that I was just watching a story that had already been told. I dislike ZOS, but I can separate the game from the studio. The game is considerably better than the studio. It is like someone else designed the game, and then ZOS took over. I can certainly put ESO at #1, even if I think that ZOS is tirelessly working to bring the game down to their level.

It is just terrible that their community feedback is so lackluster. They should hire more forum readers and responders. Gina, Jess, and Kai do a good job, but they could still use some more hands on deck. I mean they have all that revenue from the cash shop and the crates coming in.

I usually do but the compensated Astroturfing Campaign against ESO and the Bot run voting campaign of GW2 pretty much Guarantees it won't win.

It was amazing in my opinion, you just need to have a lot of playtime to play at a competitive level, the artifact power grind is real. I leveled 2 toons to 110 before school got too busy to keep playing.1 -

It's sad, because Tyria is lively and full of cultures that are so different from one another, one of the races is so absolutely unique on origin and on how they "work" too, it had so much potential...

All of his growth and the ties with the player character were gradual, it was fantastic and it remains the best character development I saw in a MMO to date. He went from antagonist to full-blown villain then to ally and then to friend, and even though he was locked up and apparently "out of the scene" for several months, if players went to his cage to speak to him, his dialogue changed with every new update to reflect his growth. That being said, it has an utterly phenomenal movement system. Probably one of the best parkour systems out there. And it also has its distinctive and quirky art style going for it.
Then the questions becomes do the developers actually respond to questions about balance? Do they answer with things they are looking and or think might need adjustment?
Or do they just disappear for 3-6months at a time. only reappearing from time to time to annouce we are working on something but it has no eta so dont worry!

Even with the pve boost, i still hate the stupid rng some pieces have.
I know people that have done like 300 runs of CoA , for a sharp inferno spell weave but not got it, they've got bows/ 2h/ ice and lightning staffs but not an inferno.
They should of bundles itemisation with the patch considering how grindy it is.
E.g. Spell weave won't drop in anything but inferno and only drop 1 weps, no bow/2h's etc..
