Character Selection Screen. ZOS, I beg you.

Dear ZOS, please, please, please allow us to change characters order in character selection menu.
I'm not asking about special filters (alphabetic, alliance, class, time played, whatever). No.
Just, please, apply simple mechanics for manual order change. Drag-n-drop, right click, BDO-like one, anything you like.
I desperately need this.

Think @ZOS_MattFiror or @ZOS_RichLambert made a comment in a video that would be coming at some point. I can't remember where, if it was part of an interview, live show, or at gamescom...

I swear I saw it somewhere, although it was so long ago I had assumed it would happen with update 12

I could also be crazy and just seeing things or having false memories though.

Maybe one of those two I tagged could come in and tell us?

This has been the one thing that I've been looking for since day 1 of playing ESO. It seems like such a simple feature, I don't get why they haven't added it already.

Also, I think it would be cool if the backgrounds behind characters in the selection screen were dynamic in the sense that they change based on where you are. Even if it they has standard forest, snow, desert, jungle, etc. ones that change based on where you log off, that would be neat. But character order should definitely come first.

Background diversity will be very nice feature, but it requires much more work for artists than little change order thingy.
Just two little arrows after character's info. Up and Down. Please. This can not be so hard to do.

Yes, this would be great. While you're at it ZOS could you fix the weird disparity that allows me to zoom in closer on my male characters' faces than on my females'? It's a weird little bug that has always... bugged me.

I've been wanting this for years.

New updated background would be nice too, the texture resolution on the ground surrounding the character is incredibly low, and does not compare at all with the graphics of the game itself.

I'd rather they alphabetize the dungeon list in group finder first. Seems a more useful addition.

While what you ask for should be programatically simple, I shudder to think of the potential results.

it is of HUGE importance to get this feature. I always die in game because I am not very good.

however, I am good at putting my Character Selection Screen characters in the right order... so it will make me feel better.

Perhaps the simple design is log in/out order

Last player logged out of appears at the top

Well, that would be a mess for fast loggers, chars would always be in a different spot on the list.

A comprehensive order management tool with a simple drop system would do the trick. Just let people order them by classes, races, alliance, crafting dailies order, importance... it's a very small life quality improvement that looks so easy that it would certainly make things easy for us.
