What exactly will you do with housing if there is no Storage? Lets speculate

I'll at least buy the cheapest house for the target dummy alone. If other people wanna get a nice house and fancy stuff to decorate it with, more power to them. I'm okay with them using the next major update to add something that is going to be more focused on immersion/RP as long as they're putting a sincere effort into the balance changes they've also got coming. Plus, implementing housing now makes it easier for them to add more practical features to housing (things like storage, gear mannequins, gardens, etc.) in future updates.

Just make some choices as to what sets you want for your toons and decon everything else.
That's what I do now.
A lack of extra storage won't "fix" anything.

In computers, putting a bigger hard drive to 'fix' too much data being store on it doesn't really fix it.
The IT Dept scans for files that aren't needed: MP3s, AVIs, etc. and deletes them.

So more storage will simply fill up yet again and more ppl will complain.

Just review what is available (this is a great link: http://esoacademy.com/set-bonus-items/ ), decide what you want to farm, decon everything else.

So I've been going through and getting rid of lots of stuff. I've set a rule that if a jewelry piece I have saved isn't purple/gold it gets Destroyed. Likewise, I am getting rid of lots of gear.

I've also decided to Sub tomorrow rather than when the next DLC drops so I can store approximately 500K tel var stones worth of alchemy satchels in my crafting bag, along with the Materials I'll get from deconning lots of stuff. I'm giving away lots of gear, maps, etc as well.

Not happy about any of this. I only hope that Homestead Storage comes sooner rather than later. My incentive to continue playing ESO has stooped to an all-time low.

They've said we can place assistants in houses, eg. the merchant and banker which can be summoned anywhere.

So I'm guessing there's not going to be any native banking or merchant options for houses.

I will spend literally nothing on housing, because it adds nothing to the MMO experience (if you are a non-RPer).

I will keep the first apartment, delete all furniture and place a target dummy in the middle of the empty room. That's about it.
