Just sayin'
Haha I can see that. I'm a better forum-plar than a player anyway lol.
But seriously, AD was going on a path that leads to an -EP victory. You needed Dc to commit their troops to lessen the gap on EP. AD was hitting DC as hard as -EP, rightly thinking to push DC away from another campaign win. But the effect was that EP saw you left the road to alessia relatively uncontested. So while AD took ash/rayles/tried to seige glade (8 points total, potential 12 total if glade gets taken), you lost alessia/faregyl/bloodmayne (24 total points loss).
AD needed to bottle neck the second place faction, hold all home objectives, and flip resources on both enemies. My score predictions assume a keep and a few resources are flipped, which isn't crazy to achieve in primetime.
On Monday, I'll give another update that lists reach factions win potential as objectively as possible.
EP are free kills though. Can push them to the bottom of the leader board in a day. DC are all perma blocking healers that have a 24/7 presence.
yeah they are when you bring doubt the number of your opponent, which is your wont.
primetime all factions locked hmmmmmmmmmmmm???

Despite DC's crazy winning performance over the past 3 months, its time for me to let the memory of that go - I think it's no longer safe to assume EP will run out of steam and fall seriously behind this campaign.
TBH I have also been operating on the assumption that at some point AD/DC would whittle down EP and they'd fall behind by 1k points or more, given how EP has performed so poorly in recent campaigns. But it appears that EP has returned to its former might with all the help they called in. The dynamic has changed substantially and EP does not need any sort of light hand from other factions to stay in the fight.
Last night, when I went to bed, the voice of my dead Bosmer grandfather - shot through 100 times by Argonian arrows - whispered in my mind "Dranacea -remember the Pact on Thornblade 2015 - Never again!" That message haunts me today and so I come here to tell you this.
It's truly exciting that this is a real 3-way fight this campaign and we all need to think carefully about where we focus our attacks. All 3 factions are very much still in this, which is great.
Have a nice week everyone!

I haven't but I assume it's where one really strong guy beats up the other 2 guys, and then those 2 guys beat up the one guy, and then the 2 guys duke it out and one of em is beating the other then the formerly really strong guy (who got beat up) comes back and beats the guy that was winning out of the 2 guys who beat him up with a folding chair but then the guy he just kinda saved bites his ear off etc etc
