not really. I would vote for ESO 100 times if I could
I find it funny how TERA has a 8.9 rating compared to ESO with a lower 8.8 rating... played TERA for a few months and couldn't bare it with the lack of content, constant boobs around every corner, gender locked classes, way more expensive cash shop. Not to mention the terrible combat, no voice acting, cheesy story and most cancerous community I've ever seen in an online game.
ESO on the other hand I'm 140 days play time in and still barely feel like I've scratched the surface.
Makes me wonder who on earth is rating these games, probably some journalist who hasn't even played it past level 10

I know right! We have come a long way from where we were! I think ESO deserves it for sure.

They said they will nerf proc sets. PvE magicka reign is a thing constantly changing depending on the patch. Eso deserves it. Which other mmo has developed that much in the last year?leepalmer95 wrote: »Thealteregoroman wrote: »I find it funny how TERA has a 8.9 rating compared to ESO with a lower 8.8 rating... played TERA for a few months and couldn't bare it with the lack of content, constant boobs around every corner, gender locked classes, way more expensive cash shop. Eyy there are still so many problems that get ignored, zos don't seem to take in feedback etc...
In pvp your damage is 75% from armor.
In pve it's like 90% magicka builds.

I noticed that in this one, you can vote more than one time.

There needs to be an option for no game to win MMO of the year, because quite frankly all MMO's out at the moment are horrendously flawed. Awards should be given to games that have stellar performances and continuously deliver positive and interesting showcases.
ESO is by far the strongest MMO out there in my opinion, but there's so much work to do be done at this game's end game aspect that it's really depressing. The issue is, their lack of incentive to provide to that portion of the community, despite it being the most impactful one in how long a game lasts. True, the end game community might not buy every single new crown store item (although plenty of us do), but the new editions of the store never would be able to come in if people didn't stick around and actually play the game.
Dangling this award in front of them and forcing them to up the ante in game balance and performance for the portion of the community that is directly the reason this game still breathes past it's rocky launch would be perfect incentive. I want ESO to win MMO of the Year, but I also want them to deserve it. I can't say they do at the moment.
