NA, you have a serious bot problem

Holy hell. I've seen maybe one bot while playing on EU, but on NA they are plaguing nearly every zone. ZOS, why aren't you doing something? There's 3 bots in Bangkorai I reported earlier today, and I log back on to find they're still running around following the same path, disrupting legitimate grinders.
I got them killed several times by luring a bunch of mobs and letting the bots attack them, hoping they'd run out of soul gems, but they just instantly respawn at the Evermore Wayshrine and continue on their path.

At least I don't have to worry about naming and shaming, because they're just robots, right? Naming and Shaming rules are in place to protect real people, not these ridiculous things.

Please do something about this.

They've been killing the price of Dreugh Wax for a few weeks. I report, they show back up in Rawl on a new account a couple days later, selling wax for even lower. Before this, wax was on the rise pushing 6250 average. Last night in Wayrest, I actually saw them drop the price to 4K in zone.

I reported a bunch in Bangkorai a few weeks back, and have actually just avoided the zone entirely since then because it makes me so mad. And hearing how little gets done to stop the bots is part of the deal that gets me so mad in the first place. I mean, if its cool, then maybe more people should set up nonsense that lets them run around and collect mats while they go do other things like work or sleep or whatever.

Yeah - I started noticing more of them over the weekend. A bunch of them got 'stuck' at the wayshrines and they were there for a few hours before they finally got removed. You'd think they would be able to identify them quicker by now...

We've been reporting them since they were low level, and ZOS has allowed them to stay long enough to get some CP now. Might as well not even have ea "report botting" option.

I honestly don't mind the bots. I pretty much only raid or PvP so My gold income is always very low. The bots make it affordable for me to buy materials and ingredients.

Well they're a pain when you're trying to level a new character and there's bots in every zone.

I reported like 500 hundreds BOTs over time but they dont care zos only care about crown store people should accept this hard fact.

It would be wrong of me to tell you that the algorithms of the bangkorai bot function similar to that of MMOViper.

I'm getting a sense that ZOS are in denial about a few things atm. Personal bots, cheats, exploits, bugs, quality of PvP, desperation crates etc Some bad decisions about how the game is paid for is encouraging for gold sellers and their bots. I'm afraid this game could be quickly be categorised as just another average MMO by this time next year.

We need less DLC and more fixes if we wanna keep ESO's core intact. I could be completely wrong but I personally would be put off by bots roaming PvE quest zones and the stupid PvP, I'd try those first before crafting a vase for my 2k crown house.

A lot of you are claiming they don't do anything. That's not true at all. Bots get banned. Problem is, with a vpn they just create new accounts. The only way to stop this would be to have in game GM's, however... that costs money.

Just another sign ZOS does not care about the player base as much as they should or are terribly understaffed , I guess they forget we are the ones that keep the game running and they have a job.

If that was legit players getting to much exp there would be a hot fix same day but cheaters, botters exploiters meh we will get a round to it might not be in the budget to take care of those matters.

I have been playing mmo's since the 90's this is one of the worst if not the worst company I have seen for not taking care of their player base and getting rid of cheaters, exploiters and so on just seems like anything that affects the player base in a negative way they are just blind to it, this is one of the reasons I have a hard time even keeping a sub with this game, until I see more attention to the game I will never spend a dime beyond my sub. /sigh

A few months ago, I saw a bot train in Grahtwood near Haven (AD side, it was before 1T) while I was fishing there. I turned nameplates on, took a bunch of screens, reported them in game and through sending the screens to Gina through message here in the forums. They were gone in half an hour, if that much.

Another time, in Wrothgar, there was one single bot repeatedly killing bears near one of the Woodworking survey sites. I reported that bot every time I went there and it took at least two weeks for them to be gone.

Honestly I don't know how they deal with bots but it doesn't seem to be a very consistent response time. Might be because on the first situation it was at least eight bots, and on the second it was only one. Or maybe the first situation was more obvious, or it affected more people because it was in a low level questing area? I don't know how it works.
