Does this mean if we found all the books on a character we won't have to grind anymore with new characters? We can just read them from our home?

I would weep actual tears of joy if that were the case. Chances are, though, that we will simply be able to read them (y'know, open the books and flip through them) without receiving Mages Guild credit for them. I doubt they want to give new characters access to things like Meteor right off the bat with no work required...
I'd love to be proven wrong, though.

But all characters have access to your house. So they would be available to all your characters right away. Question is if you will get credit for it on your other characters for reading them.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. It probably will work the same as the horses. The horse is the same, but the riding speed is character bound. Either the books will disappear when you change characters or they won't do anything until you find it with that character.0 -

Uh huh. I found them all on my first 8 characters. If I get the house, then I guess the last 4 will be able to instantly get the experience from reading them, no going out and hunting required.
That might not quite be what was intended.
