Scrolling Combat Text? [Solved]

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone can explain to me how ZOS Scrolling Combat Text works please? For example I see Green text for healing, White when doing damage. However, I see Orange text, "!" at the end of damage numbers and "*" in front of damage numbers and have no clue what any of these mean. If someone can explain what these all mean and any others too, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Orange text is damage over time effects.

White normal text is non-crit direct damage.

Gold text with a exclamation mark is crit damage.

I believe heals can also crit but I've never paid much attention to the healing numbers.

Orange text is damage over time, ! is critical and * means you blocked that much damage.
