I have no idea what any of these are or what you have to do to win.
Also what are the end rewards ?
I'm very casual and prefer nothing too challenging so I never bothered questioning or paying attention. Curiosity is getting the better of me.
Edit: Also where are these? and what CP should you be? Any restrictions?

There are 4 12 man trials which are maw of lorkhaj, aetherian archive, hel ra citadel, and sanctum ophidia. A 4 man trial called dragonstar arena. And a solo trial which is maelstrom arena. Maw of lorkhaj is in reapers March, the other 3 12 man's are in craglorn. Maelstrom is in wrothgar, and dragonstar is in craglorn

They are designed the hardest pve content in the game. They can be completed on normal at just about any level. I would suggest not doing vet trials til 300cp or so. Maw is harder so most people won't even let you in unless you are cp capped.

Maelstrom is balanced to 300cp according to the devs but the vast majority of players cannot complete it on vet even at cp cap. Because no-one is helping you.

Rewards - Vet Maelstorm gives you a chance of a Maelstorm weapon, and Vet Dragonstar a Master weopon. People like these as they give 1 piece bonuses and have cool enchants.

Trials have some good sets, but are all bound now, but you can make big money selling them within your trial group at the end.

Best place to start, maelstrom on NORMAL mode. It's a good build test. Then I think Normal Dragonstar if you have a group of 4
