It wouldn't be fair to those that paid for that option to just hand it out for free now.
If you want-any alliance, pay for the Adventurer pack for 1900 crowns.
I believe it is not fair that Zenimax is not telling its customers that they can only change their race
within the alliance they originally had chosen when buying that token.

Race Change Tokens: These tokens grant you everything the Appearance Change Tokens do, plus the ability to change one character's race to one available for that character and account. Those that have the Explorer's Pack will be able to choose any race from any alliance; otherwise, you can choose any race from your chosen alliance. You'll be able to purchase one Race Change Token for 3000 crowns.
"That said, it would be useful if Zenimax also stated it clearly in the token's description so we could avoid these situations in the future"
Hi,
Yes, that is what it really needs to be done by Zenimax. I did not know as many others players that one of those "packs"
would allow me to play in other alliances and would it be needed with that new token. Nevertheless, at 3000 crowns it is
already a very expensive proposition if we're going to add the adventurer pack it will be another 2000 crowns, which is awfully expensive to say the least. Zenimax, should do a bundle like with race and name change.
Best,
Atherol
I didn't even pay for it, I got it free with my pre-order. But even so, I'd see it like I see DLC sales: people can get them cheaper than I did, but I enjoyed them for much longer, so we're even. I don't mind the Gold Edition with four DLC bundled for the price of one game, I wouldn't mind adding 'any race, any alliance' token to that bundle. So you should get something for free that others paid for? If I get a race change I can pick any race because I paid extra, why should you get it cheaper?
Hello
Today I bought a very expensive race change token (3000 crowns) but, when I went to apply it to one
of my characters I got a message that it said that I need it to get the "any race any alliance upgrade".
I believe it is not fair that Zenimax is not telling its customers that they can only change their race
within the alliance they originally had chosen when buying that token. Also, it seems to me that with
"One Tamriel" that should not be the case any longer as ESO has become an open world for everyone
to explore at any level in any alliance.

yes I agree, this should be in he tooltip
@ZOS_GinaBruno
Hi,
Yes, hopefully ZOZ will add to the tooltip in that race token changer that you can
only change race in your own alliance and if you wanna do otherwise you need an
extra pack to do it. I believe that a better solution will be to do a bundle or to just
allow to change to any race in any alliance with that token as it is already quite
expensive.
Sincerely
Atherol

ThisYou're wasting your time OP. Nothing will change for you. You say it's not fair.... it's the other way around
1) Working as intended.
2) Tooltip may need to be clearer to avoid confusion.
3) You get what you pay for. You paid for a standard race change, not access to all of them.
4) Working as intended.
