So , we can send poor souls to mine ore , kill animals , carve strange stones and cut trees but we can't send them to pick flowers . Come on . I know it is really easy to get flowers with the new Tel Var thingy but still . It just makes sense . Get rid of useless Snakeblood and add Hireling instead maybe ?

OOOOOohhhh oh oh oh! You hit the nail on the head right there!
I have never had the need for using Snakeblood as you can make potions in a variety of ways that ensures there are no negative effects.
Please remove Snakeblood & implement Alchemy Hireling!

And as far as the satchel goes:
They do give you a lot of plants for the cost of the satchel. However, you have to pay for the satchel (Tel Var). You don't have to pay for the hirelings. Make it a little balanced out please!

to my thinking, alchemy is already the easiest and most useful craft.

i have never ran short of mats.

Db has a 1 sp requisitioner that give alchemy reagents better than writs 2/3 of the time for no work except leveling the skill.

writs, even first level writs, give all the mats one can use at higher levels, except the water, which is plentiful.

IMO a hireling would be gilding the lily a bit much... but hey... net result would be lower prices in store for those unfortunate enough to need to buy so... no problem.

The divines prohibit the employ of anyone for the specific purpose of destroying flowers.

One may pick flowedsnthems and it is acceptable to sell what one gathers to others as long as it is not related to an employment contract.

All wood used for crafting comes from fallen trees and as such is not destroying any flowers from flowering trees.
