How lucky did you guys get with the Crown Crates?

My luck isn't bad I got 4 4 packs a total of 16 packs with crowns I got from the black Friday sale and got the following : Storm Camel in 2nd crate, Imperial mananaut cap, Red Pit Wolf Mount from scrounged gems from multiple items and duplicates(I converted all non collectibles for the red pit mount I really wanted) Dwarf Style Mages Hat and that's it for apex and legendary. I got no epic rewards. Got clever man wizard hat, azure brow circlet, evening dress feathered bucket cap, Fibonaccus cap, helstrom ancestor lizard(love it), 2 argonian appearance items , 1 khajiti appearance item, soul shriven armor outfit, storm atronarch aura(crap) and wrestlers buzzcut(which I got 4 times). After 16 crates or so I got exactly 100 gems . It's not terrible but it does make you feel dirty and wrong for gambling and a little good at the same time lol

I bought 45 crown crates (more than I should XD) I got two apex mounts and one legendary. A lot of costumes, hats, etc. and ended up with 300 gems. It's not that bad for gambling boxes. Tho I should have stopped on the first stack of 15.

I consider myself pretty lucky, don't really want the apex mounts, was more interested in some pets and utility items. Spent some crowns, no regrets here. Doubt I will buy anymore as it would appear that the only other things I want will be in the crown store in a few weeks.

I gave in. Curiosity got me. I bought 6 crates.

I got the Red Pit Wolf mount, the Chub Loon and the Apex storm atronach bear mount and some other junk.

I got the 2 things I wanted, so I need buy no more.

4 new mounts in 15 crates isn't bad, I'd say I got lucky. The Wolf Mount looks cool.

Probably would have been cool if they just threw the stuff in the store. Then you could have spent those crowns buying stuff outright. Wouldn't be as profitable for them though, watching some of these clowns throw hundreds at crates and getting a bad run of luck.

I also caved and bought a few.

Got the Apex Guar mount, not a guar fan but it'll do till I get my elk.

I was chasing a couple of the lower tier items which I got really quickly so I'm happy but I doubt I'll bother with them again unless there's something I really, really want that is in a lower tier. Saving my 347 gems (so many cause I got the guar twice) for the next quarter update.

Extremely lucky. Initially was against it (still am), but wanted to try it out and see what all the fuss was about. Only wanted the storm senche (and was prepared to rage so hard if I didn't get it lol). Bought the 4-pack. Got the storm senche in the 3rd crate. As a bonus, got the chub loon pet which is so cute. Won't be buying any more tho, and grateful for the self-control.

Meh. Had a bunch of crowns and so bought fifteen crates. Good news is I got three "extra" cards in that group of crates. So 63 cards total.

What did I get? The clouded senche mount, a couple soul shriven costumes I didn't want, two Argonian cosmetics I won't use 'cause I don't play Argonains and a bunch of potions and stuff that I traded in for two of the Imperial costumes.

All in all I'm not impressed. If I have some extra crowns and I don't want something else in the crown store, I might do it again.

if they put the dro'mothra senche in the lineup, then i might give it a shot (should've just bought it outright, like i did the clouded senche and shriven horse)

It's posts like this that convince people with gambling addictions to say screw it and drop tons of $$.

Here's a better estimate:

Deltia opened 46 crates ($100+) and recieved no Apex mounts. He converted everything he could into gems (he had a lot of Crown Store items previously too) and ended up with ~300 gems. A single Apex mount costs 400 gems, so you'd need to drop like $150 for a *guaranteed* atronach mount.

Those are more accurate statistics.

I'd rather save my hundreds of dollars for real content, *guaranteed* crown store mounts, a subscription, or other games..... not for a shot at a lightning mount which will be outclassed by the future seasons of Crown Crates and let everyone around me know I support these terrible crates.

I had 2300 crowns from my last sub, which I was saving for the feathered hat. The hat ended up in the boxes, but for a cheap 16 gems. Got 6 crates, which refunded 18 gems and I got my hat, plus a fox cub, lizard, penguin, wizard hat, couple other useless things. Didn't really care about the mounts, but from what I experienced, these crates are a confirmed rip off. Basically making players pay for junk they don't need just to get over hyped stuff they want. If it wasn't for the craft bag, I'd be reconsidering why I even get crowns. And the whole gem thing, converting one overpriced currency into and even lower valued currency. My general opinion of the developers has gone from mediocre to disgusted. And good thing I'm going on vacation next week, because the hype over these crates is already beyond annoying. 'What is X chance', 'I spent X and got blah, blah, junk'. I might turn off chat for awhile. Maybe even scroll the Steam games and see if I can take a break until this disgust dies down a little.

Just had to try them and purchased 4.

1 legendary mount, 2 superior costumes and pets, xp scroll, mimic stone plus a selection of pots.

Nor fantastic neither a rip-off but then I was using crowns that came from subbing. I just can't see myself paying extra money for this sort of thing.
But once you have purchased all available bank slots and riding lessons what use is there left for the subber's crowns other than bling bling stuff and pots that you can/should be able to make yourself?

These crates make a mini-game out of spending your leftover crowns so yes, I sort of welcome them.

I saved my ESO plus crown points and had enought to get 100 crates by doing so. Here is what I attained

(not shown is the black maned lion

pets: Chub loon, black masked dog, razorback boar, senche clouded leopard cub, red wolf pit pup, orchid nixad, tangerine toad

Costumes: Soul Shriven set ( did not really want it but whatevs) all the others were doubles which gave me a good deal of gems

all in all I felt satisfied with the results

Used like 70 crates got all normal mounts except senchie and red wolf, all costumes, Soul Shriven Skin, 1 Apex Wolf Storm Mount, all hats except 2, all pets and around 550 crown gems.

Also 3 momentos!

Its not bad but i used my all stacked crowns!
