Feeling weak on my Nightblade

Hey, returned after few moths away, continued my nightblade.

Basic dualwield setups and stamina build. Ambush, whirling blade, bloodthist, killers blade, ambush and death stroke.

Last time i played this felt great and felt right, killing NPC enemies from stealth felt what should be when someone stabs you on the back, you die.

Now i return and play exact same as from launch until i left, stealth crouches, ambush all feels weak, me stabbin enemy on the back feels like minor inconvenience to enemies.

Why? Has the scaling that came with one Tamriel screwed the feeling of powerful assassin away from my play?

Nightblades probably have the weakest DPS in the game, and they're also the most squishy. You probably just need better gear, and more CP, and you'll feel powerful again.

Thank you, after reading the "nerf nightblade" thread I thought I was going crazy.

As a DW NB you need to use your weapon swap bar as a buff bar. Use 2hand for this with Rally, it will give you the 20% damage buff and a decent heal over time. Also use Blur on this bar for the 20% dodge chance. Having Blur and rally up will greatly improve your survivabilty. then on top of that using a 20% damage buffed Bloodthirst will heal you for even more and drop the target faster. While you are sneaking you can throw your buffs up, then swap to DW and attack the target

You should also be using Surprise Attack on your DW bar. It debuffs your target, hits them hard and procs your shadow passive that gives you an armor and resist boost. Generally you want to combo attack with Suprise Attack then Bloodthirst as your main form of attacking. Only use Ambush as a gap closer if needed. Also while sneak attacking try to land a Suprise Attack as this is the best opener.

    Nah you're not.

OP, you just need to do some shopping in your skill trees you have unlocked for the DPS. While you're looking at skills, I'd recommend checking out One Tamriel's sets that you can get. Some of these can help.

Wwell, i have all purple gear though its 5 levels beloww me, this was not an issue before one Tamriel though.

I reallize i could get better results by using some tricks laike mentioned 2 handed thingies but i wont go away from "realistic" setting to tricks. I guess i just have to be as i am and play like this.

Hitting things seems to be bit more unreliable than before, perphaps targeting arc has been lessened? Sneak attacks also wonrt seem to happen very often when attacking behihnd targets, bow or dww, it usually just seems to do normal damage without bonus from sneak(crouch), perphaps this is a bug?

Someone told we nightblades arew squishy, i dont feel this at all, i have mediu,m armor and all stats in stamina but i never seem to be in any danger of dying.

Anyway, i guess i can live with this, the constant duel everyqwhere is much bigger intrusion :(
