In-game mail system could use some love..

Can we have one of these on our inbox please? It seems like it could be a relatively easy fix to what has been a persistent annoyance in game for as long as I have played it. Simple things like shopping at multiple guild traders, and having to log off or change zones again just to get the items so I can craft tends to grate on my nerves over time. It can be especially troublesome when I am in a hurry trying to craft items for a friend or guild mate and they forget to send some materials, or I need to stop and buy something needed for it. What should take 10 or 15 minutes usually takes 30.
Gods forbid if they say they want to make a last minute change after putting their new sets on...

It's annoying having to log off or change zones to get your mail. But I remember someone saying it was a development decision to help ease stress on the server. So if it really does help reduce lag and server issues - then I'm willing to put up with it. It's an inconvenience - but one I can live with for the greater good.
That being said: it would be great if they could figure out a way to implement a more responsive mail system without causing additional lag.0 -
