✭✭✭Same issue for my console and my wife's. Countdown to logout, sits at screen but does not return to character selection screen.

Gina has already commented about this, it's being figured out. The apparent fix is enter a town or area where there is no log out timer. You'll be able to change characters freely as long as there is no log out cooldown.

Is there a list of areas where there is no timer? Is there a space in the irrigation tunnels/sewers?0 -
argouru✭✭✭I discovered the same issue last night. Before the last patch, I could log out just fine. Now the preparing to log out counter hits zero and nothing else happens. I have to quit the game to log out.

Don't quit... just open the chat log and type "/logout" without quotes-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf
