For me this company continues to live up to or exceed my expectations patch after patch - but since i dont expect perfection or everything to my liking my expectations include a broader range than some others may.
But the game right now in 1T is the best it has been to date, IMO, flaws and all.Proudly skooma free while talks-when-drunk is in mandatory public housing.

Even if they attain balance between classes in a vacuum, there will never be balance between players and thus there will always be widespread outcries for balance. Performance and PVP has gone down the drain. As long as you don't care about them two things, the game is in an amazing state.15 -

It is subjective, totally. I don't want people to take my comics too seriously. They're comics afterall, not long walls of text with rants.

Every MMO except of pure PvP MMOs were never really balanced. The balance will shift from class to class and from stamina to magicka. The update after that will change that again. Kutsuu✭✭✭✭✭At least in my case performance has continued to improve, slowly, over the last couple of years. There was a point (around orsinium DLC) that PVP was largely unplayable purely due to constant massive lag spikes. It still happens, but much less frequently.
PVP is also less broken mechanic wise than it ever was in my opinion. I kill proc set users and I kill eye of the storm users. There were so many eras in this game where the flavor was nigh unkillable unless you played the same build and did it better than them.PC/NA

But it does. In terms of what it has to offer, it's all there. It's how they poorly manage it and let Cyrodiil performance worsen is what drives me nuts.

@Mady The game was advertised as large scale pvp... The dev's have already said the next patch will be focused on pcp balance.
But as OP said hard to have faith when every patch they seem to make pvp worse.
The need to learn how to tweaks thing as issues come up and not leave them to stew for 3 months then hammer then in 1 big patch.
I've got a feeling they are going to nerf proc sets wonderfully, which is great. But then are going to overbuff some things like mag dk and make them fotm. Ignore some things like black rose or how major evasions works. Ignore the stupid cost poisons as well as the abundant amount of snares...
They always overnerf things and overbuff other things and usually make the game worse than it was then leave it for 3 months repeat..
