Housing and balance changes are the next update. After that, no idea. Could be Murkmire, could be Vvardenfell. ✭✭✭Really disappointed that housing will be counted as a meaningful piece of dlc. I get people are stoked for it, but it's not actually proper dlc. It's on par with those fluff dlc we see in other games. For example Hearthfire, those building dlcs we got in FO4 etc. Really need a new area or story related dlc. The next update will be in Q1 , January, housing and magicka rebalance known so far for it, we don't know if something else is coming along with it. We don't know yet. They should release more information in January, after they come back from the holidays. ✭Crown crates which of course is not content, and the new winter festival, I think housing first quarter of next year is the last I heard them say but who knows.
Outside of that they sure are tight lipped about the future maybe we will get a end of the year letter from Mat and give us a glimpse of possible things to come next year.
This smaller dlc's more often is just rubbish to me, not enough content to keep you busy for more than a day, this game is ripe for a large real expansion, and while they are making it they could still release smaller dlc's.
Mat's reasoning behind the smaller more often dlc's, was people leave the game to play something else when something new launches in ESO, they come back to play it, and I am sure he is correct to a point but I just don't see people coming back for these smaller dlc's which offers you very little, I think folks will come back for a dlc the size of Wrothgar that had meat on the bones and took you longer than 4 hours to complete.
When you make a game and rely on the meta to build it around one thing all these reports do not reflect is the human factor or the fun factor.Edited by kevlarto_ESO on November 30, 2016 1:35PM0 -
