An Extra Research Slot for Subscribers

It would be great if subscribers could get an extra research slot to go with their ESO PlUS membership. So subscription players will have 4 research slots to work with rather than the current 3.

✭Maybe for new players, or players who aren't adamant about checking their times. Kind of 1 sided though, screw those of us that already have all research done? That's a complete waste, if I sub, I want all the benefits, not just 90%. The extra inspiration is already useless if you have your characters maxed, why add more?0 -

If they add a new trait to be researched, then for sure, give me 4 slots for research.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Multiple traits on multiple weapons and gear... cap it at 20hr not a month.

✭✭✭Lol what a bad idea. Just another player who is trying to bribe ZOS into giving you more stuff for money because you think theyre THAT money hungry.
They are money hungry but smart. They know you're paying that subscription whether or not they add these type of ideas that pop up on the forums lol4 -

Well then I guess that's it, let's just close up the forum for discussion because you're the telepathic spokesperson for Zen, and unless you specifically see the greater good in something that WON'T hurt you in the least, there's no point in suggesting anything on this site designed for suggestions.
I'll tell you what spokesperson, make a new discussion entitled 'Topics and Requests Not Considered Bribery', list them, and wait for your gold merit badge to arrive in the mail. lol
You're too busy talking about what other people know, when you barely sound like you know what you're talking about, because there are plenty of people that don't or refuse to subscribe, but that's just my perspective. Not to mention you used the word "bribe" which entails requesting an illegal favor with money as a motivator. Not only am I already subscribing ... I offered no further promise of monetary gain. Make sure you use those vocabulary words right. Nevertheless, you're free to think what you want, just don't tell others to think like you. ✭Not that I wouldn't appreciate another research slot, but I would be happy to be able to research multiples of the same item at the same time; i.e. 2 daggers of different traits at the same time.

Subs get shortened research time and that is sufficient. Enjoyed that shorter time when I was finishing up my 9th traits.0 -

✭✭✭✭As an ESO+ subscriber, nope. Don't want it. Research is a basic function of the game and an additional slot shouldn't be locked behind that. Maybe some functionality within provisioning or alchemy where ESO+ members can choose how many servings they make of something instead of sticking with 4 at a time (on PS4 at least) and repeatedly hitting a button. Maybe a tool to save your alchemy recipes once you find some good ones, so you don't have to remember which ingredients go into what potions when you make them.
Small things like that which would have no real negative impact on anyone else. Maybe we'll get something when housing comes in, I live in hope while I keep the subscription going.Australian on PS4 NA server.

There are six crafts.
They take about the same skills spent.
You can level the consumables in a day to full level 50.
You can level the equips in similar time except that eithout research times your funtionality is limited.
Now, right now the consumables produce products unequaled, obviously superior compared to the drops.
Equip crafting has no such advantage. Its quicker for sure but drop sets easily match crafted.
And thats AFTER you do all that research.
So add up all the extra months of waiting and ask yourself if you see a similar gain in benefit over say what all the consumables give immediately.
I have no problems with longer investments - unless they produce minimal gains.
Also, imo, beyond the value for effort comparisons, its a gameplay issue. Daily 20 or 18 hr cycles provide incentive to login, provide needs to at least look in on characters each day. A 5 11 22 day etc sequence does the reverse.
