More Crown Store Suits for Male/Unisex characters Wanted

When are we going to get more regal, formal or informal suits for male characters like the Wedding Suit and and the Noble Suit? It's some time, since anything stylishly impressive has been added to the store for male characters that like to dress up.

The females have gotten plenty of clothing and plethora of dresses like the Noble dress, Off-the-shoulder-Even Dress, City Isle Tunic Dress, Cyrod Gentry's Town Gown, Cyrod Patrician Formal Gown, Wedding Dress, not to mention what's been removed from the Crown Store. And while these dresses are able to be worn by male characters, they are not showcased with men in mind.

Maybe the tailor in Abah's Landing can offer some in-game outfits for purchase? It would be appreciated if you'll remembered that guys like to dress nice, too. And don't hold back on the outfits with jewelry, maybe a ring or two on the fingers? Some suitable hats that aren't all eccentric in appearance. I personally would like to see a wide-rim hat added. Thanks for reading.

True, but does that mean it shouldn't be asked for? That is one of the purposes of the forums after all, to speak about your experiences, opinions, desires, and dislikes.

It's a Gown. Remember the Cyrodiilic Empire is based off the Romans, and believe it or not, Men in Rome wore "dresses" too.

Also you have the City Orc costumes as well.

I'm feeling your pain on this. I have a male toon whose armor (mother's sorrow) is absolutely wrong for the battle mage I see him as. Have you seen mother's sorrow? It's just so wrong for a male. I've searched the store for something less.... humiliating that I like to some degree. There was a decent robe set in there back in the summer. Now it's gone. Why oh why has ZOS done this to my toon.

What gets me is that I know they have had many nice outfits since they began. I see toons in them and ask about them. They really could bring back so many of these and make some nice profit on a regular basis from people who just want nice stuff for their toons. They could do sales (because they already had them so grab new customers with the 'sale' banner). But I don't see them doing that. I'm sure they have tons of outfits that current players have never seen and might really go for. They'd make some nice cash from that. If they had someone who gets this, they would be doing it already. Such a shame and a loss for both us and them. C'mon Zos, you want to make money and we want to have nice looks for our toons. Let's get on this!

It's a matter of preference. I don't consider them stylish, and I darn sure won't be considering a gown appropriate male attire; but that's how I feel. And of course you're free to feel how you feel about such clothing.

The only reason I even included the word unisex in the title, is because there's always someone hooting and hollering about the ability to exercise and acknowledge cross-gender options. I hoped to alleviate that hollering.

I'm just stating that it's culturally accurate. It's a piece of Cyrod attire originally designed for the people of Cyrodiil, and Imperials aren't shy about wearing gowns and robes.

Also I get what you're saying but Unisex has been around as a term far longer than any "Cross-gender" issues. I guess there is a bit of a disparity between feminine formal wear and neutral/masculine.

How about some iconic role costumes - mage, thief, fighter, healer, etc? Yes, some of these are covered by other costumes, but with all of the armor sets, dungeon helmets, 2 piece sets, etc. trying to get a complete set of good looking armor is nigh impossible.

Now... if only they'd take my suggestion and allow us to change the MOTIF of any armor piece to any motif we know - that would be something.

Better yet, allow crafters to offer that as a service by allowing one player to place an item in a special device and allowing another player to apply their skill and/or motif OR even allow TRAIT change that way.

I know... the trait change will NEVER happen, because they need something to make us camp for endless, boring hours... but I can dream.

I don't have any male characters, but I support this.

I know how awful it is when we feel neglected by the cosmetic options.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I make females because from an artwork standpoint, that's always been where the focus was.

I was saddened when they stopped making female stuff and began to mesh the females and males together so as such it seems most are for both but obviously the dress and skirt items are female items.

I just play what looks the best and only hope they go back to female models like launch r even better while every so often adding male stuff but hey let's be honest. The gear in game is pretty much all for males over the last year so....

I think most folks, myself included, are of a mind that all these costumes they have literally had done for AGES, including MANY wonderful male options you see on NPCs all over the place, will be in the gambling boxes and that's why they aren't putting them out in the cash shop.

I hit the 'agree' button so hard I nearly broke my mousie! :D

I have a complete mix of males and females and I like to dress them appropriately. More choice is definitely a Good Thing. :)

Gina said somewhere in the Crown Crates thread that it will most likely be posted tomorrow.
