Faction loyalty needed (Yes, even with One Tamriel)

So I am a returning player after 4-5 months off and I still think there should be some rewards or perks for exhibiting faction loyalty.

i.e. All 8 of characters are DC and I have been DC ever since launch! Also all 8 of my characters are lvl 50 and I have CP 625.

So with One Tamriel I realize that everyone can adventure with one another, but the factions are almost meaningless until you get into Cyrodil. Hmmmm a tri-faction game with meaningless faction designations? It seems like tjis has become the case.

We are all just heartless mercenaries at best. Killing whoever offers us coin. Why would we be loyal to any one faction in PvE?

*** factional loyalty in a war that is essentially pointless.

You are just a scaried carebear who kills helpless mobs.

Well, seems to me that it's a fundamental flaw in the game that the factions are so meaningless. Would provide a better gaming experience if there were some palpable benefits or reasons for the faction you chose.

    LOL, ok?

OP mentioned everything outside of Cyrodiil, so responding on topic gets a carebear comment?

Either way, I kill whatever whoever pays me to. The quest giver could be a tomato for all I care.

Hell, half the NPC quest givers have less personality than a tomato!

If quest choices had meaningful impact, I would be more inclined to care. Until then, mercenary for life!

I love pveing with the other factions, and it's good for boosting the perceived population. It's not like you can tell what faction they're in at a glance like you can in pvp. You could always just assume that anyone in auridon supports the queen, the guards are pretty effective.

If you have all characters on one faction you should get an achievement with title and/or dye at most imo. But then I think there could be more titles for a variety of things, I have no desire to wear any of my titles other than Master Wizard.

I only pvp for DC. I do have an AD character. He has been around since early access and is my only enchanter. I'm rather fond of him actually. Bought him the wedding suit and he gets the easy life hanging out in Wayrest now with 1T. Does that make me disloyal?

Just bcoz 3 factions(or real life nations) are at conflict it doesnt automaticly mean that you cant visit/have friends in the opposing party. Not everyone are soldiers or thinks that the conflict is reasonable.

Had I known about Cadwells silver/gold when I started playing, I'd only have made pact characters. Since I didn't... I didn't.

If they ever add some faction change option... I might feel tampted to have some of my others defect to the pact (depending on how they implement it)

But be that as it may, I would love to see some mechanics to reward those who stay loyal to one faction in their PvPing! Just because.
