Game freezes briefly when someone joined or left a guild

Anyone else experienced this? I have joined 4 big trading guilds, and when someone else joined or left a guild, I get a notification on top right corner and game almost crashed. Why is that? Any solutions? Should I leave the guild?

I get this hitch too. It may be a function of guild size or it maybe not since the big ones are likely to have more joining and leaving so you'll notice those the most.2 -
